who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;
ဖြောင့်မတ်သောလမ်းကိုစွန့်၍၊ မိုက်မဲသော လမ်းသို့လိုက်သောသူ၊

and have no fellowship with the unfruitful works of darkness, but rather reprove them.
အကျိုးမဲ့သောမှောင်မိုက်အမှုတို့နှင့် မဆက်ဆံသည်သာမက၊ ထိုအမှုတို့၏ အပြစ်ကို ပြကြလော့။

he discovereth deep things out of darkness, and bringeth out to light the shadow of death.
မှောင်မိုက်ထဲ၌ နက်နဲသောအရာတို့ကို ထင်ရှားစေ၍၊ သေခြင်းအရိပ်ကိုအလင်းထဲသို့ ထုတ်ဘော်တော် မူ၏။

he believeth not that he shall return out of darkness, and he is waited for of the sword.
မှောင်မိုက်ထဲမှာ ဘေးလွတ်မည်ဟု မြော်လင့် စရာမရှိ။ ထားသည့်သူ့ကို ချောင်းမြောင်းလျက်ရှိ၏။

before i go whence i shall not return, even to the land of darkness and the shadow of death;
မှောင်မိုက်နှင့်သေခြင်း အရိပ်ဖုံးလွှမ်းသောပြည်၊

teach us what we shall say unto him; for we cannot order our speech by reason of darkness.
ငါတို့သည် အဘယ်သို့လျှောက်ရမည်ကို သွန်သင်ပါ။ ငါတို့သည် မိုက်သောကြောင့်၊ အလိုအလျောက် မလျှောက်တတ်ကြ။

and in that day shall the deaf hear the words of the book, and the eyes of the blind shall see out of obscurity, and out of darkness.
ထိုကာလ၌ နားပင်းသောသူတို့သည် ကျမ်းစ ကားကို ကြားကြ လိမ့်မည်။ မျက်စိကန်းသောသူတို့သည် မြှေးရှက်ခြင်း၊ မှောင်မိုက်ခြင်းနှင့် ကင်းလွတ်၍ မြင်ကြ လိမ့်မည်။

these are wells without water, clouds that are carried with a tempest; to whom the mist of darkness is reserved for ever.
ထိုသူတို့သည် ရေမရှိသော ရေတွင်းကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ လေတိုက်၍ လွင့်သောမိုဃ်းတိမ်ကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်ကြ၏။ သူတို့အဘို့ တခဲနက်သော ထာဝရမှောင်မိုက်ကို သိုထားချက်ရှိ၏။

for if god spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;
အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ပြစ်မှားသော ကောင်းကင် တမန်တို့ကို ဘုရားသခင်သည်နှမြောတော်မမူ၊ ငရဲထဲသို့ ချလိုက်ပြီးမှ စစ်ကြောစီရင်ခြင်း အလို့ငှါ ချုပ်ထား၍၊ မှောင်မိုက်သံကြိုးနှင့်ချည်နှောင်တော်မူ၏။

and i will give thee the treasures of darkness, and hidden riches of secret places, that thou mayest know that i, the lord, which call thee by thy name, am the god of israel.
မှောင်မိုက်၌ရှိသော ဘဏ္ဍာ၊ လုံခြုံစွာ ဝှက်ထား သော ဥစ္စာတို့ကို သင့်အား ငါပေးမည်။ သို့ဖြစ်၍၊ ငါသည် သင့်ကို နာမည်ဖြင့် ခေါ်သော ဣသရေလအမျိုး၏ ဘုရားသခင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရား ဖြစ်တော်မူကြောင်းကို သင်သိရလိမ့်မည်။

and the fifth angel poured out his vial upon the seat of the beast; and his kingdom was full of darkness; and they gnawed their tongues for pain,
ပဥ္စမကောင်းကင်တမန်သည် မိမိဖလားကို သားရဲ၏ ပလ္လင်ပေါ်သို့ သွန်းလောင်းလျှင်၊ သူ၏နိုင်ငံ သည် မှောင်မိုက်အတိဖြစ်လေ၏။ နိုင်ငံသားတို့သည် ပင်ပန်းအားကြီးသည်နှင့် မိမိတို့လျှာကို ကိုက်ခဲကြ၏။

but if a man live many years, and rejoice in them all; yet let him remember the days of darkness; for they shall be many. all that cometh is vanity.
သို့ရာတွင်၊ လူသည်အသက်တာရှည်၍ အစဉ် ရွှင်လန်းသော်လည်း၊ မှောင်မိုက်ကာလကို အောက်မေ့ ပါစေ။ ထိုကာလကြာမြင့်လိမ့်မည်။ ဖြစ်လတံ့သမျှတို့သည် အနတ္တသက်သက်ဖြစ်ကြ၏။

but ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light:
သင်တို့မူကား၊ မှောင်မိုက်ထဲမှ အံ့ဘွယ်သော အလင်းတော်သို့ ခေါ်သွင်းတော်မူသော သူ၏ဂုဏ် ကျေးဇူးများကို ဘော်ပြစေခြင်းငှါ၊ ရွေးချယ်တော်မူသော အမျိုးဖြစ်ကြ၏။ မင်းစည်းစိမ်ရှိသော ယဇ်ပုရောဟိတ်မျိုး၊ သန့်ရှင်းသောလူမျိုး၊ ပိုင်ထိုက်တော်မူသော အပေါင်းအသင်းဖြစ်ကြ၏။

o generation, see ye the word of the lord. have i been a wilderness unto israel? a land of darkness? wherefore say my people, we are lords; we will come no more unto thee?
ယခုဖြစ်သော အမျိုးသားတို့၊ ထာဝရဘုရား၏ အမိန့်တော်ကို ဆင်ခြင်ကြလော့။ ငါသည် ဣသရေလ အမျိုး၌ တောကဲ့သို့၎င်း၊ မှောင်မိုက်နိုင်ငံကဲ့သို့၎င်း ဖြစ်ဘူး သလော။ ငါ၏လူတို့က၊ ငါတို့သည် အရပ်ရပ်သို့ လည် မည်။ ကိုယ်တော်ထံသို့ နောက်တဖန်မချဉ်းကပ်ဟု အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဆိုကြသနည်း။

a day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
မိုက်မဲသောနေ့၊ မိုဃ်းအုံ၍ မှောင်မိုက်ထူထပ် သော နေ့ဖြစ်၏။ ဓနအာရုန်သည် တောင်ထိပ်တို့ကို နှံ့ ပြားသကဲ့သို့၊ အများဖြစ်၍ အားကြီးသော အမျိုးသည် လာ၏။ ရှေးကာလ၌ ထိုသို့ မဖြစ်စဖူး။ နောင်ကာလ အစဉ်အဆက်၌လည်း မဖြစ်ရလတံ့။
