"nakadungog kamo sa giingon, `ayaw pagpanapaw.`

ye shall not do so unto the lord your god.
dili kamo magbuhat niana kang jehova nga inyong dios.

you shall not covet your neighbor's wife
you shall not commit your neighbor goods

then shalt thou walk in thy way safely, and thy foot shall not stumble.
unya magalakat ikaw sa imong dalan nga may kasigurohan, ug ang imong tiil dili mahapangdol.

but there shall not an hair of your head perish.
apan walay bisan usa ka buhok sa inyong ulo nga mawagtang.

ye shall not make any cuttings in your flesh for the dead
pagputol

ye shall not afflict any widow, or fatherless child.
dili mo pagsakiton ang bisan kinsa nga balo nga babaye kun ang ilo nga bata.

and blessed is he, whosoever shall not be offended in me.
ug bulahan ang tawo nga dili makakaplag dinhi kanako sa kahigayonan nga makapasibug kaniya gikan kanako."

dili ba molabaw pa hinoon ka masanagon ang pag-alagad sa espiritu?

my lips shall not speak wickedness, nor my tongue utter deceit.
sa pagkatinuod ang akong mga ngabil dili magapamulong sa dili-pagkamatarung, ni magalituk sa limbong ang akong dila.

ye shall not tempt the lord your god, as ye tempted him in massah.
dili kamo magtintal kang jehova nga inyong dios, ingon sa inyong pagtintal kaniya didto sa massa.

heaven and earth shall pass away: but my words shall not pass away.
ang langit ug ang yuta mangahanaw, apan ang akong pulong dili gayud mahanaw.

a false witness shall not be unpunished, and he that speaketh lies shall perish.
ang usa ka bakakon nga saksi dili makagawas sa silot; ug kadtong mamulong sa kabakakan mahanaw.

the foolish shall not stand in thy sight: thou hatest all workers of iniquity.
ang mga mapahitas-on dili magatindog sa atubangan sa imong mga mata: nagadumot ikaw sa tanang mga mamumuhat sa kasal-anan.

the righteous shall never be removed: but the wicked shall not inhabit the earth.
ang matarung dili gayud matarug; apan ang dautan dili magadayon sa yuta.

and as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.
sama sa kupo sila imong pagalukoton, ug sila pagausabon. apan ikaw mao sa gihapon, ug walay pagkatapus ang imong katuigan."

for he that said, do not commit adultery, said also, do not kill. now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor of the law.
kay siya nga nag-ingon, "ayaw pagpanapaw," nag-ingon man usab, "ayaw pagpatay." bisan pa kon ikaw dili manapaw apan makapatay ka, ikaw nahimong malinapason sa kasugoan.

ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you:
busa, kamo magabantay sa akong kabalaoran ug sa akong mga tulomanon, ug dili kamo magbuhat ug bisan unsa niining tanan nga mga dulumtanan, bisan ang pumoluyo, bisan ang dumuloong nga nagapuyo sa taliwala ninyo,

and as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the lord.
ug ang incienso nga pagabuhaton mo, sumala sa pagsakot niini dili kamo magbuhat alang sa inyong kaugalingon: kini tungod kaninyo mamahimo nga balaan alang kang jehova.
