யார் ஜிப்ரீலுக்கு விரோதியாக இருக்கின்றானோ (அவன் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் விரோதி யாவான்) என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்; நிச்சயமாக அவர்தாம் அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளைக்கிணங்கி உம் இதயத்தில் (குர்ஆனை) இறக்கி வைக்கிறார்; அது, தனக்கு முன்னிருந்த வேதங்கள் உண்மை என உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறது. இன்னும் அது வழிகாட்டியாகவும், நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோருக்கு நன்மாராயமாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

say: whoever is the enemy of jibreel-- for surely he revealed it to your heart by allah's command, verifying that which is before it and guidance and good news for the believers.

say: 'whoever is an enemy of gabriel, indeed, he has brought it down by the permission of allah to your heart, confirming what was before it and a guidance and glad tidings to the believers.
யார் ஜிப்ரீலுக்கு விரோதியாக இருக்கின்றானோ (அவன் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் விரோதி யாவான்) என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்; நிச்சயமாக அவர்தாம் அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளைக்கிணங்கி உம் இதயத்தில் (குர்ஆனை) இறக்கி வைக்கிறார்; அது, தனக்கு முன்னிருந்த வேதங்கள் உண்மை என உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறது. இன்னும் அது வழிகாட்டியாகவும், நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோருக்கு நன்மாராயமாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

they came on you from above and from below, and when your eyes swerved and your hearts leapt to your throats, and you thought thoughts about allah;
உங்களுக்கு மேலிருந்தும், உங்களுக்குக் கீழிருந்தும் அவர்கள் உங்களிடம் (படையெடுத்து) வந்த போது, (உங்களுடைய) இருதயங்கள் தொண்டை(க் குழி முடிச்ச)களை அடைந்து (நீங்கள் திணறி) அல்லாஹ்வைப் பற்றி பலவாறான எண்ணங்களை எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்த சமயம் (அல்லாஹ் உங்களுக்கு செய்த அருள்கொடையை) நினைவு கூருங்கள்.

say, “whoever is hostile to gabriel—it is he who revealed it to your heart by god’s leave, confirming what preceded it, and guidance and good news for the believers.”
யார் ஜிப்ரீலுக்கு விரோதியாக இருக்கின்றானோ (அவன் அல்லாஹ்வுக்கும் விரோதி யாவான்) என்று (நபியே!) நீர் கூறும்; நிச்சயமாக அவர்தாம் அல்லாஹ்வின் கட்டளைக்கிணங்கி உம் இதயத்தில் (குர்ஆனை) இறக்கி வைக்கிறார்; அது, தனக்கு முன்னிருந்த வேதங்கள் உண்மை என உறுதிப்படுத்துகிறது. இன்னும் அது வழிகாட்டியாகவும், நம்பிக்கை கொண்டோருக்கு நன்மாராயமாகவும் இருக்கிறது.

but you thought that the messenger and the believers will never return to their families, and this seemed fine to your hearts; and you harbored evil thoughts, and were uncivilized people.
"(நீங்கள் கூறுவது போல்) அல்ல (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதரும், முஃமின்களும், தங்கள் குடம்பத்தாரிடம் ஒரு போதும் திரும்ப மாட்டார்கள் என்று நீங்கள் நிச்சயமாக எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; இதுவே உங்கள் இதயங்களில் அழகாக்கப்பட்டது; ஆதலால் நீங்கள் ஒரு கெட்ட எண்ணத்தை எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; அதனால் நீங்கள் நாசமடையும் சமூகத்தினர்களாகி விட்டீர்கள்."

(they will be told): “eat and drink to your hearts' content as a reward for your deeds.”
(அவர்களுக்குக் கூறப்படும்:) "நீங்கள் (நன்மைகளைச்) செய்து கொண்டிருந்ததற்காக, (சுவர்க்கத்தில்) தாராளமாகப் புசியுங்கள், பருகுங்கள்."

no. you thought that the messenger and the believers would never return to their families; this prospect seemed pleasing to your hearts, and you conceived evil thoughts, and thus were doomed to perish.
"(நீங்கள் கூறுவது போல்) அல்ல (அல்லாஹ்வின்) தூதரும், முஃமின்களும், தங்கள் குடம்பத்தாரிடம் ஒரு போதும் திரும்ப மாட்டார்கள் என்று நீங்கள் நிச்சயமாக எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; இதுவே உங்கள் இதயங்களில் அழகாக்கப்பட்டது; ஆதலால் நீங்கள் ஒரு கெட்ட எண்ணத்தை எண்ணிக் கொண்டிருந்தீர்கள்; அதனால் நீங்கள் நாசமடையும் சமூகத்தினர்களாகி விட்டீர்கள்."
