Ва пиндоштанд, ки уқубате нахоҳад буд. Пас кӯру кар шуданд.

on the day when he will call unto them and say: where are my partners whom ye imagined?

Ва Довуд донист, ки ӯро озмудем. Пас аз Парвардигораш бахшоиш хост ва ба руқӯъ дарафтоду тавба кард.

in fact you imagined that the prophet and the faithful would never come back home; and this seemed pleasing to your hearts, and you entertained evil thoughts. you are a people lost.
Ё мепиндоштед, ки паёмбар ва мӯъминон ҳаргиз назди касонашен боз нахоҳанд гашт ва дил ба ин хуш карда будед. Пиндори баде доштаед ва мардуме сазовори ҳалокат будаед.

and when you look there (in paradise), you will see a delight (that cannot be imagined), and a great dominion.
Чун бингарӣ, ҳар чи бингари неъмат фаровон аст ва фармонравоии бузург.

(but the truth is not what you say.) you had imagined that the messenger and the believers would never return to their families, and this notion was embellished in your hearts.
Ё мепиндоштед, ки паёмбар ва мӯъминон ҳаргиз назди касонашен боз нахоҳанд гашт ва дил ба ин хуш карда будед.

(let them not forget) that the day when allah will call unto them, and say: "where are those whom you imagined to be my associates?"
Ва рӯзе, ки ононро нидо медиҳад ва мегӯяд: «Шариконеро, ки барои Ман мепиндоштаед, куҷоянд?»

"you have come before us all alone," (god will say), "as when you were created first, leaving behind all that we had bestowed on you. we do not see your intercessors with you who, you imagined, had partnership with you.
Албатта танҳо-танҳо, он тавр ки дар оғоз "шуморо биёфаридем, назди мо омадаед, дар ҳоле ки ҳар чиро, ки арзонатом дошта будем, пушти сар ниҳодаед ва ҳеҷ як аз шафеъонатонро, ки мепиндоштед, бо шумо шариканд, ҳамроҳатон намебинем.
