judge me, o lord my god, according to thy righteousness; and let them not rejoice over me.
lithethe ityala lam ngokobulungisa bakho, yehova thixo wam; mabangandivuyeleli;

when my father and my mother forsake me, then the lord will take me up.
ngokuba ubawo noma bandishiyile, wesuka uyehova wandichola.

only do not two things unto me: then will i not hide myself from thee.
kodwa izinto ezimbini musa ukuzenza kum, ndize ndingazisithelisi ebusweni bakho:

judge me, o god, and plead my cause against an ungodly nation: o deliver me from the deceitful and unjust man.
lithethe ityala lam, thixo, ubambane ngenxa yam nohlanga olungenanceba; ndisindise endodeni ekhohlisayo, enobugqwetha.

and if ye will not yet for all this hearken unto me, then i will punish you seven times more for your sins.
ukuba nithe anandiphulaphula noko kungako, ndokongeza ukunithethisa kasixhenxe ngenxa yezono zenu.

judge me, o lord; for i have walked in mine integrity: i have trusted also in the lord; therefore i shall not slide.
ekadavide. lithethe ityala lam, yehova, ngokuba mna ndihambe engqibelelweni yam, ndakholosa ngoyehova, andahexa.

when my spirit was overwhelmed within me, then thou knewest my path. in the way wherein i walked have they privily laid a snare for me.

waza wathi upawulos kuye, uza kukubetha uthixo, ludongandini luqatyiweyo. wena uthi uhlalele ukuba uthethe ityala lam ngokomthetho, ubuye waphule umthetho, uthi mandibethwe?

wathi ubharaki kuye, ukuba uthe wahamba nam, ndohamba; ukuba akuthanga ubambe nam, andiyi kuhamba.
