ye have condemned and killed the just; and he doth not resist you.

the righteous also shall hold on his way, and he that hath clean hands shall be stronger and stronger.

ke nina namkhanyela oyingcwele, olilungisa, nacela ukuba ninikwe indoda engumbulali.
but ye denied the holy one and the just, and desired a murderer to be granted unto you;

wasondela uabraham, wathi, ungade ubhebhethe olilungisa kunye nongendawo yini na?
and abraham drew near, and said, wilt thou also destroy the righteous with the wicked?

ndiyintlekisa kummelwane mna, endibe ndingonqula uthixo, andiphendule; uyintlekisa olilungisa, ogqibeleleyo.
i am as one mocked of his neighbour, who calleth upon god, and he answereth him: the just upright man is laughed to scorn.

bawo olilungisa, ihlabathi lona alikwazanga, ke mna ndikwazile; naba bathe bazi ukuba wena undithumile;
o righteous father, the world hath not known thee: but i have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.

umelwe kukuthi abe ngobuka iindwendwe, umthandi wokulungileyo, onesidima, olilungisa, ongcwele, onokuzeyisa;
but a lover of hospitality, a lover of good men, sober, just, holy, temperate;

kuba ngazo kutyhilwa ubulungisa bukathixo, buphuma elukholweni buse elukholweni, njengokuba kubhaliwe kwathiwa, olilungisa ke uya kudla ubomi ngokokholo.
for therein is the righteousness of god revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, the just shall live by faith.

ngokwaphuka komphefumlo wakhe wobona, aneliswe; ngokwazi kwakhe, umkhonzi wam olilungisa uya kugwebela abaninzi, athwale yena izenzo zabo ezigwenxa.
he shall see of the travail of his soul, and shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many; for he shall bear their iniquities.

okokugqibela ndibekelwe isithsaba sobulungisa, eya kundibuyisela ngaso ngaloo mini inkosi, umgwebi olilungisa; ingabi ndim ndedwa ke, ibe ngabo bonke abakuthandayo ukubonakala kwayo.
henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

wena ungomehlo ahlambulukileyo, ukuba angayikhangeli into embi, ukuba ungabi nakukondela okubi; ubondele ngani na ke abanginizi, ukuba uthi cwaka njeongendawo emginya olilungisa kunaye?
thou art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity: wherefore lookest thou upon them that deal treacherously, and holdest thy tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

yiva ke wena emazulwini, wenze, ugwebe kubakhonzi bakho; umgwebe ongendawo, uyibeke indlela yakhe phezu kwentloko yakhe; umgwebele olilungisa, umnike ngokobulungisa bakhe.
then hear thou in heaven, and do, and judge thy servants, condemning the wicked, to bring his way upon his head; and justifying the righteous, to give him according to his righteousness.
