አንድ ካፕሱል ስንት ፍሬ ይየዛል
አንድ ካፕሱል ስንት ፍሬ ይየዛል

እንግዲህ ለንስሐ የሚገባ ፍሬ አድርጉ፤
bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance:

የጽድቅም ፍሬ ሰላምን ለሚያደርጉት ሰዎች በሰላም ይዘራል።
and the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.

መልካም ፍሬ የማያደርግ ዛፍ ሁሉ ይቆረጣል ወደ እሳትም ይጣላል።
every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

ብዙ ፍሬ ብታፈሩና ደቀ መዛሙርቴ ብትሆኑ በዚህ አባቴ ይከበራል።
herein is my father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples.

በለስም በብርቱ ነፋስ ተናውጣ ቃርያዋን ፍሬ እንደምትጥል የሰማይ ከዋክብት ወደ ምድር ወደቁ፥
and the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.

መልካም ዛፍ ክፉ ፍሬ ማፍራት፥ ወይም ክፉ ዛፍ መልካም ፍሬ ማፍራት አይቻለውም።
a good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.

እንግዲህ ይህን ፈጽሜ ይህን ፍሬ ካተምሁላቸው በኋላ በእናንተ በኩል አልፌ ወደ እስጳንያ እሄዳለሁ፤
when therefore i have performed this, and have sealed to them this fruit, i will come by you into spain.

የእግዚአብሔርን ቃል የተናገሩአችሁን ዋኖቻችሁን አስቡ፥ የኑሮአቸውንም ፍሬ እየተመለከታችሁ በእምነታቸው ምሰሉአቸው።
remember them which have the rule over you, who have spoken unto you the word of god: whose faith follow, considering the end of their conversation.

እንግዲህ ዛሬ ከምታፍሩበት ነገር ያን ጊዜ ምን ፍሬ ነበራችሁ? የዚህ ነገር መጨረሻው ሞት ነውና።
what fruit had ye then in those things whereof ye are now ashamed? for the end of those things is death.

በእውነቱ ለእነሱ ከንግሥናው ፋንታ አላቸውን ያን ጊዜ ለሰዎች በተምር ፍሬ ላይ ያለችውን ነጥብ ያህል አይሰጡም ነበር ፡ ፡
do they have a share in sovereignty ? if so , they will not give those people [ so much as ] a speck on a date-stone !

እንግዲህ ዘወትር ለእግዚአብሔር የምስጋናን መሥዋዕት፥ ማለት ለስሙ የሚመሰክሩ የከንፈሮችን ፍሬ፥ በእርሱ እናቅርብለት።
by him therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to god continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to his name.

አሁን ግን ከኃጢአት አርነት ወጥታችሁ ለእግዚአብሔርም ተገዝታችሁ፥ ልትቀደሱ ፍሬ አላችሁ፤ መጨረሻውም የዘላለም ሕይወት ነው።
but now being made free from sin, and become servants to god, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

ከሰማይም ብሩክን ውሃ አወረድን ፡ ፡ በእርሱም አትክልቶችንና የሚታጨድን ( አዝመራ ) ፍሬ አበቀልን ፡ ፡
and we brought down from the sky blessed water , and produced with it gardens and grain to harvest .
