( ድልን ያጎናጸፋችሁ ) ከእነዚያ ከካዱት ከፊልን ሊቆርጥ ( ሊያጠፋ ) ወይም ሊያዋርዳቸውና ያፈሩ ኾነው እንዲመለሱ ነው ፡ ፡

his is the dominion of the heavens and the earth , and unto allah will all affairs be brought back .
የሰማያትና የምድር ንግሥና የእርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ነገሮችም ( ሁሉ ) ወደ አላህ ብቻ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡

anon will their multitude be vanquished , and they will turn the back .
ክምቹዎቹ በእርግጥ ድል ይምመታሉ ፡ ፡ ጀርባዎችንም ያዞራሉ ፡ ፡

believers , if you obey a certain group among the people of the book , they will turn you back to disbelief .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከነዚያ መጽሐፉን ከተሰጡት ሰዎች ከፊሉን ብትታዘዙ ከእምነታችሁ በኋላ ከሓዲዎች አድርገው ይመልሱዋችኋል ፡ ፡

have fear of the day when you go back to god . then each will be paid back in full his reward , and no one will be wronged .
በእርሱም ውስጥ ወደ አላህ የምትመለሱበትንና ከዚያም እነርሱ የማይበደሉ ሲሆኑ ነፍስ ሁሉ የሠራችውን ሥራ የምትሞላበትን ቀን ተጠንቀቁ ፡ ፡

his is the sovereignty of the heavens and the earth , and unto allah ( all ) things are brought back .
የሰማያትና የምድር ንግሥና የእርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ነገሮችም ( ሁሉ ) ወደ አላህ ብቻ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡

say : " determined is the day of the promise , which you can neither put back nor advance an hour .''
« ለእናንተ ከእርሱ አንዲትንም ሰዓት የማትዘገዩበት የማትቀድሙበትም የቀጠሮ ቀን አላችሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

that he might cut off a fringe of the unbelievers or expose them to infamy , and they should then be turned back , frustrated of their purpose .
( ድልን ያጎናጸፋችሁ ) ከእነዚያ ከካዱት ከፊልን ሊቆርጥ ( ሊያጠፋ ) ወይም ሊያዋርዳቸውና ያፈሩ ኾነው እንዲመለሱ ነው ፡ ፡

the promise of god is true . whether we show you some of the punishment we have promised them , or gather you up in death , they have to come back to us .
ታገስም የአላህ ቀጠሮ እውነት ነውና ፡ ፡ የዚያንም የምናስፈራራቸውን ከፊሉን ( በሕይወትህ ) ብናሳይህ ( መልካም ነው ) ፡ ፡ ወይም ብንገድልህ ወደኛ ይመለሳሉ ፡ ፡

but if his shirt is torn from the back , then she has lied , and he is of the truthful . "
« ቀሚሱም ከበስተኋላ ተቀድዶ እንደሆነ ዋሸች ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከእውነተኞቹ ነው ፡ ፡ »

ወደ መድየንም ውሃ በመጣ ጊዜ በእርሱ ላይ ከሰዎች ጭፍሮችን ( መንጋዎቻቸውን ) የሚያጠጡ ሆነው አገኘ ፡ ፡ ከእነርሱ በታችም ( ከውሃው መንጎቻቸውን ) የሚከለክሉን ሁለት ሴቶች አገኘ ፡ ፡ « ነገራችሁ ምንድን ነው » አላቸው ፡ ፡ « እረኞቹ ሁሉ ( መንጋዎቻቸውን ) እስከሚመልሱ አናጠጣም ፡ ፡ አባታችንም ትልቅ ሽማግሌ ነው » አሉት ፡ ፡

[ for such is the state of the disbelievers ] , until , when death comes to one of them , he says , " my lord , send me back
አንዳቸውንም ሞት በመጣበት ጊዜ እንዲህ ይላል « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ( ወደ ምድረ ዓለም ) መልሱኝ ፡ ፡

" but if it be that his shirt is torn from the back , then she has told a lie and he is speaking the truth ! "
« ቀሚሱም ከበስተኋላ ተቀድዶ እንደሆነ ዋሸች ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከእውነተኞቹ ነው ፡ ፡ »

" but if it be that his shirt is torn from the back , then is she the liar , and he is telling the truth ! "
« ቀሚሱም ከበስተኋላ ተቀድዶ እንደሆነ ዋሸች ፡ ፡ እርሱም ከእውነተኞቹ ነው ፡ ፡ »

if thou couldst only see when the angels take the unbelievers , beating their faces and their backs : ' taste the chastisement of the burning --
እነዚያንም የካዱትን መላእክት ፊቶቻቸውንና ጀርባዎቻቸውን እየመቱ « የቃጠሎንም ስቃይ ቅመሱ » ( እያሉ ) በሚገድሏቸው ጊዜ ብታይ ኖሮ ( አስደንጋጭን ነገር ታይ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

and if you could only see when the angels took away the souls of the unbelievers , striking them on their faces and backs , saying : ' taste the torment of burning .
እነዚያንም የካዱትን መላእክት ፊቶቻቸውንና ጀርባዎቻቸውን እየመቱ « የቃጠሎንም ስቃይ ቅመሱ » ( እያሉ ) በሚገድሏቸው ጊዜ ብታይ ኖሮ ( አስደንጋጭን ነገር ታይ ነበር ) ፡ ፡

( as for ) those of you who put away their wives by likening their backs to the backs of their mothers , they are not their mothers ; their mothers are no others than those who gave them birth ; and most surely they utter a hateful word and a falsehood and most surely allah is pardoning , forgiving .
እነዚያ ከእናንተ ውስጥ ከሚስቶቻቸው እንደናቶቻችን ጀርባዎች ይኹኑብን በማለት የሚምሉ እነርሱ እናቶቻቸው አይደሉም ፡ ፡ እናቶቻቸው እኒያ የወለዱዋቸው ብቻ ናቸው ፡ ፡ እነርሱም ( በዚህ ቃል ) ከንግግር የተጠላንና ውሸትን በእርግጥ ይናገራሉ ፡ ፡ አላህም ( ለሚጸጸት ) ይቅር ባይ መሓሪ ነው ፡ ፡
