shall cry for “ perdition , ”
( ዋ ! ጥፋቴ በማለት ) ጥፋትን በእርግጥ ይጠራል ፡ ፡

he shall call for perdition ,
( ዋ ! ጥፋቴ በማለት ) ጥፋትን በእርግጥ ይጠራል ፡ ፡

and he brought perdition upon the subverted cities
የተገለበጠችውንም ከተማ ደፋ ፡ ፡

perdition overtake both hands of abu lahab , and he will perish .
የአቡ ለሀብ ሁለት እጆች ከሰሩ ( ጠፉ ፤ እርሱ ) ከሰረም ፡ ፡

they suffered the consequences of their deeds and their end was perdition .
የነገርዋንም ቅጣት ቀመሰች ፡ ፡ የነገርዋም መጨረሻ ከሳራ ኾነ ፡ ፡

and those who disbelieve , perdition is for them , and he will make their actions vain .
እነዚያም የካዱት ለእነርሱ ጥፋት ተገባቸው ፡ ፡ ሥራዎቻቸውንም አጠፋባቸው ፡ ፡

but as for those who disbelieve , for them is perdition , and he will waste their deeds .
እነዚያም የካዱት ለእነርሱ ጥፋት ተገባቸው ፡ ፡ ሥራዎቻቸውንም አጠፋባቸው ፡ ፡

but they were succeeded by generations who lost the prayers and followed their appetites . they will meet perdition .
ከእነሱም በኋላ ሶላትን ያጓደሉ ( የተዉ ) ፍላጎቶችንም የተከተሉ መጥፎ ምትኮች ተተኩ ! የገሀነምንም ሸለቆ በእርግጥ ያገኛሉ ፡ ፡

he said : " by allah ! thou wast little short of bringing me to perdition !
ይላል « በአላህ እምላለሁ ፤ በእርግጥ ልታጠፋኝ ቀርበህ ነበር ፡ ፡

as though they had never dwelt in them ; now surely perdition overtook madyan as had perished samood .
በእርሷ ውስጥ እንዳልነበሩ ሆኑ ፡ ፡ ንቁ ! ሰሙድ ( ከአላህ እዝነት ) እንደ ራቀች መድየንም ትራቅ ፡ ፡

but there came after them an evil generation , who neglected prayers and followed and sensual desires , so they win meet perdition ,
ከእነሱም በኋላ ሶላትን ያጓደሉ ( የተዉ ) ፍላጎቶችንም የተከተሉ መጥፎ ምትኮች ተተኩ ! የገሀነምንም ሸለቆ በእርግጥ ያገኛሉ ፡ ፡

and we reveal of the quran that which is a healing and a mercy to the believers , and it adds only to the perdition of the unjust .
ከቁርኣንም ለምእመናን መድኀኒትና እዝነት የኾነን እናወርዳለን ፡ ፡ በዳዮችንም ከሳራን እንጂ ሌላ አይጨምርላቸውም ፡ ፡

give money for the cause of god but do not push yourselves into perdition . do good ; god loves the people who do good deeds .
በአላህም መንገድ ለግሱ ፡ ፡ በእጆቻችሁም ( ነፍሶቻችሁን ) ወደ ጥፋት አትጣሉ ፡ ፡ በጎ ሥራንም ሥሩ ፤ አላህ በጎ ሠሪዎችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

did you not see those who have exchanged allah 's favour with ingratitude to him , causing their people to be cast in the abode of utter perdition
ወደእነዚያ የአላህን ጸጋ በክህደት ወደ ለወጡት ሕዝቦቻቸውንም በጥፋት አገር ወዳሰፈሩት ( ወደ ቁረይሾች ) አላየህምን

have they not travelled through the land and seen the terrible end of those who lived before them ? god brought upon them utter destruction and the disbelievers will also faced similar perdition .
የእነዚያ ከእነርሱ በፊት የነበሩት ( ከሓዲዎች ) መጨረሻ እንዴት እንደ ነበረ ያዩ ዘንድ በምድር ለይ አልኼዱምን ? አላህ በእነርሱ ላይ ( ያላቸውን ሁሉ ) አጠፋባቸው ፡ ፡ ለከሐዲዎችም ሁሉ ብጤዎችዋ አልሏቸው ፡ ፡

and expend in the way of allah , and cast not yourselves with your hands into perdition , and do well. verily allah loveth the well- doers ,
በአላህም መንገድ ለግሱ ፡ ፡ በእጆቻችሁም ( ነፍሶቻችሁን ) ወደ ጥፋት አትጣሉ ፡ ፡ በጎ ሥራንም ሥሩ ፤ አላህ በጎ ሠሪዎችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

hast thou not turned thy vision to those who have changed the favour of allah . into blasphemy and caused their people to descend to the house of perdition ? -
ወደእነዚያ የአላህን ጸጋ በክህደት ወደ ለወጡት ሕዝቦቻቸውንም በጥፋት አገር ወዳሰፈሩት ( ወደ ቁረይሾች ) አላየህምን

he said : truly you know that none but the lord of the heavens and the earth has sent down these as clear proof and most surely i believe you , o firon , to be given over to perdition .
( ሙሳም ) « እነዚህን ( ተዓምራቶች ) መገሰጫዎች ሲኾኑ የሰማያትና የምድር ጌታ እንጂ ሌላ እንዳላወረዳቸው በእርግጥ ዐውቀሃል ፡ ፡ እኔም ፈርዖን ሆይ ! የምትጠፋ መኾንህን በእርግጥ እጠረጥርሃለሁ » አለው ፡ ፡

and spend in the way of allah and cast not yourselves to perdition with your own hands , and do good ( to others ) ; surely allah loves the doers of good .
በአላህም መንገድ ለግሱ ፡ ፡ በእጆቻችሁም ( ነፍሶቻችሁን ) ወደ ጥፋት አትጣሉ ፡ ፡ በጎ ሥራንም ሥሩ ፤ አላህ በጎ ሠሪዎችን ይወዳልና ፡ ፡

and we wronged them not but they wronged themselves . so their gods , whom they called upon beside allah , availed them not in aught , when there came the decree of thy lord , and they added unto them naught but perdition .
እኛም አልበደልናቸውም ፡ ፡ ግን ነፍሶቻቸውን በደሉ ፡ ፡ የአላህም ትእዛዝ በመጣ ጊዜ እነዚያ ከአላህ ሌላ የሚገዙዋቸው አማልክቶቻቸው በምንም አላዳኗቸውም ፡ ፡ ከማክሰርም በቀር ምንም አልጨመሩላቸውም ፡ ፡
