ከመከራም ማንኛውም ያገኛችሁ ነገር እጆቻችሁ በሠሩት ( ኃጢኣት ) ምክንያት ነው ፡ ፡ ከብዙውም ይቅር ይላል ፡ ፡

whatever misfortune befalls you is of your own doing , god forgives much ,
ከመከራም ማንኛውም ያገኛችሁ ነገር እጆቻችሁ በሠሩት ( ኃጢኣት ) ምክንያት ነው ፡ ፡ ከብዙውም ይቅር ይላል ፡ ፡

whatever misfortune befalls you is a consequence of your own deeds . but much of it he forgives .
ከመከራም ማንኛውም ያገኛችሁ ነገር እጆቻችሁ በሠሩት ( ኃጢኣት ) ምክንያት ነው ፡ ፡ ከብዙውም ይቅር ይላል ፡ ፡

believers , take care of your own souls . the misguided cannot harm you as long as you are guided .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ነፍሶቻችሁን ( ከእሳት ) ያዙ ፤ ( ጠብቁ ) ፡ ፡ በተመራችሁ ጊዜ የተሳሳተ ሰው አይጎዳችሁም ፡ ፡ የሁላችሁም መመለሻ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ትሠሩትም የነበራችሁትን ሁሉ ይነግራችኋል ፡ ፡

those to whom we gave the scripture believe in it , and so do some of your own people . only those who deny the truth reject our revelations .
እንደዚሁም ወዳንተ መጽሐፍን አወረድን ፡ ፡ እነዚያም መጽሐፍን የሰጠናቸው ፤ በእርሱ ያምናሉ ፡ ፡ ከእነዚህም ( ከመካ ሰዎች ) በእርሱ የሚያምኑ አልሉ ፡ ፡ በተዓምራቶቻችንም ከሓዲዎቹ እንጂ ማንም አይክድም ፡ ፡

o believers , do not hold unbelievers as friends in preference to the faithful . do you want to proffer a clear proof of your own guilt before god ?
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ከምእምናን ሌላ ከሓዲዎችን ወዳጆች አድርጋችሁ አትያዙ ፤ ለአላህ በናንተ ላይ ግልጽ ማስረጃዎችን ልታደርጉ ትፈልጋላችሁን

for in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, for we are also his offspring.
ከእናንተ ከባለ ቅኔዎች አንዳንዶች ደግሞ። እኛ ደግሞ ዘመዶቹ ነንና ብለው እንደ ተናገሩ፥ በእርሱ ሕያዋን ነንና እንንቀሳቀሳለን እንኖርማለን።

children of adam , when messengers of your own come to narrate to you my verses , those who are cautious and mend their ways will have nothing to fear neither shall they be saddened ,
የአዳም ልጆች ሆይ ! ከእናንተ ውስጥ በናንተ ላይ አንቀጾቼን የሚያነቡ መልከተኞች ቢመጧችሁ ከእናንተ ክሕደትን የተጠነቀቁና መልካምንም የሠሩ በነሱ ላይ ፍርሃት የለባቸውም ፡ ፡ እነሱም አያዝኑም ፡ ፡

and when we took a covenant from you that , “ do not shed the blood of your own people nor turn out your own people from your colonies ” ; you then acknowledged it and you are witnesses .
ደሞቻችሁን አታፍስሱ ነፍሶቻችሁንም ( ከፊላችሁን ) ከአገሮቻችሁ አታውጡ የምንል ስንኾን የጠበቀ ቃል ኪዳናችሁን በያዝንባችሁ ጊዜ ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( በኪዳኑ ) አረጋገጣችሁ ፤ እናንተም ትመሰክራላችሁ ፡ ፡

and give to the orphans their properties and do not substitute the defective [ of your own ] for the good [ of theirs ] . and do not consume their properties into your own .
የቲሞችንም ገንዘቦቻቸውን ስጡ ፡ ፡ መጥፎውንም በመልካሙ አትለውጡ ፡ ፡ ገንዘቦቻቸውንም ወደ ገንዘቦቻችሁ ( በመቀላቀል ) አትብሉ እርሱ ታላቅ ኃጢአት ነውና ፡ ፡

" burn ye therein : the same is it to you whether ye bear it with patience , or not : ye but receive the recompense of your ( own ) deeds . "
ግቧት ታገሱም ወይም አትታገሡ በእናንተ ላይ እኩል ነው ፡ ፡ የምትምመነዱት ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትን ( ፍዳ ) ብቻ ነው ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡

believers , do not choose my enemies and your own enemies for friends , and offer them strong love . they have rejected the truth which has come to you , and have expelled the messenger and you from your homes because of your belief in your lord .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! ጠላቶቼንና ጠላቶቻችሁን ወዳጆች አድርገችሁ አትያዙ ፡ ፡ ከእውነቱ የመጣላችሁን ሃይማኖት በእርግጥ የካዱ ሲኾኑ ውዴታን ወደእነርሱ ታደርሳላችሁ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛውንና እናንተን በአላህ በጌታችሁ ስላመናችሁ ( ከመካ ) ያወጣሉ ፡ ፡ በመንገዴ ለመታገልና ውዴታዬን ለመፈለግ የወጣችሁ እንደኾናችሁ ( ወዳጆች አድርጋችሁ አትያዙዋቸው ) ፡ ፡ እኔ የምትደብቁትንና የምትገልጹትን ሁሉ የማውቅ ስኾን ወደእነርሱ በፍቅር ትመሳጠራላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ( ይህንን ) የሚሠራ ሰው ቀጥተኛውን መንገድ በእርግጥ ተሳሳተ ፡ ፡

did you consider that the sustenance which allah had sent down for you of your own accord you have declared some of it as unlawful and some as lawful ? ask them : ' did allah bestow upon you any authority for this or do you forge lies against allah ?
« አላህ ከሲሳይ ለእናንተ ያወረደውን ከእርሱም እርምና የተፈቀደ ያደረጋችሁትን አያችሁን » በላቸው ፡ ፡ « አላህ ( ይህንን ) ለእናንተ ፈቀደላችሁን ወይስ በአላህ ላይ ትቀጣጥፋላችሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and allah has created for you wives of your own breed , and has given you from your wives , sons and grandsons , and has provided sustenance for you from good things ; so do they believe in falsehood and deny the favours of allah ?
አላህም ከነፍሶቻችሁ ( ከጎሶቻችሁ ) ለእናንተ ሚስቶችን አደረገ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ከሚስቶቻችሁ ወንዶች ልጆችን ፣ የልጅ ልጆችንም አደረገላችሁ ፡ ፡ ከመልካሞችም ጸጋዎች ሰጣችሁ ፡ ፡ ታድያ በውሸት ( በጣኦት ) ያምናሉን በአላህም ጸጋ እነሱ ይክዳሉን

a similar ( favour have ye already received ) in that we have sent among you a messenger of your own , rehearsing to you our signs , and sanctifying you , and instructing you in scripture and wisdom , and in new knowledge .
በውስጣችሁ ከናንተው የኾነን በናንተ ላይ አንቀጾቻችንን የሚያነብላችሁና የሚያጠራችሁ ፣ መጽሐፍንና ጥበብንም የሚያስተምራችሁ ፣ ታውቁት ያልነበራችሁትንም ነገር የሚያሳውቃችሁ የኾነን መልክተኛ እንደላክን ( ጸጋን ሞላንላችሁ ) ፡ ፡

" do ye wonder that there hath come to you a message from your lord , through a man of your own people , to warn you , - so that ye may fear allah and haply receive his mercy ? "
« አላህን ልትፈሩና ይታዘንላችሁም ዘንድ ከእናንተው ( ጎሳ ) በኾነ ሰው ላይ እንዲያስጠነቅቃችሁ ከጌታችሁ ግሳጼ ቢመጣላችሁ ትደነቃላችሁን » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡
