ነገ እህት አየሽ

who will be asked , " what did you worship
ለእነሱም በሚባል ቀን « ትግገዟቸው የነበራችሁት የት ናቸው »

what , did you think that we created you only for sport , and that you would not be returned to us ? '
« የፈጠርናችሁ ለከንቱ መኾኑን እናንተም ወደኛ የማትመለሱ መኾናችሁን ጠረጠራችሁን » ( ለከንቱ የፈጠርናችሁ መሰላችሁን )

what ! did you then think that we had created you in vain and that you shall not be returned to us ?
« የፈጠርናችሁ ለከንቱ መኾኑን እናንተም ወደኛ የማትመለሱ መኾናችሁን ጠረጠራችሁን » ( ለከንቱ የፈጠርናችሁ መሰላችሁን )

on the day when he will call to them , and say , “ what did you answer the messengers ? ”
« የሚጠራባቸውንና ለመልክተኞቹም ምንን መለሳችሁ » የሚልበትን ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

after that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
ከዚህም በኋላ ደግሞ እጁን በዓይኑ ላይ ጫነበት አጥርቶም አየና ዳነም ከሩቅም ሳይቀር ሁሉን ተመለከተ።

and [ mention ] the day he will call them and say , " what did you answer the messengers ? "
« የሚጠራባቸውንና ለመልክተኞቹም ምንን መለሳችሁ » የሚልበትን ቀን ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡

“ and what did you dislike in us , except that we believed in the signs of our lord when they came to us ? our lord !
« የጌታችንም ተዓምራቶች በመጡልን ጊዜ ከማመናችን በቀር ከእኛ አትጠላም ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! በእኛ ላይ ትዕግስትን አፍስስ ፡ ፡ ሙስሊሞች ኾነን ግደለን ፡ ፡ »

“ and why did you come in haste ahead of your people , o moosa ? ”
« ሙሳ ሆይ ! ከሕዝቦችህ ምን አስቸኮለህም » ( ተባለ ) ፡ ፡

did you not see that it is allah who sent down water from the sky , and then with it made springs in the earth , and then with it produces crops of various colours , and then it dries up and you see it has become yellow , and he then fragments them into small pieces ; indeed in this is a reminder for people of intellect .
አላህ ከሰማይ ውሃን እንዳወረደና በምድርም ውስጥ ምንጮች አድርጎ እንዳስገባው አላየህምን ? ከዚያም በእርሱ ዓይነቶቹ የተለያዩን አዝመራ ያወጣል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ይደርቃል ፡ ፡ ገርጥቶም ታየዋለህ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ስብርብር ያደርገዋል ፡ ፡ በዚህ ውስጥ ለባለ አእምሮዎች ግሣጼ አለበት ፡ ፡

and why did you not , when you heard it , say , ‘ it is not for us to say such a thing . [ o allah ! ]
በሰማችሁትም ጊዜ በዚህ ልንናገር ለእኛ አይገባንም ፡ ፡ ጥራት ይገባህ ፡ ፡ ይህ ከባድ ቅጥፈት ነው ፤ አትሉም ነበርን

until , when all of them have arrived , allah will say : " did you give the lie to my signs even without encompassing them with your knowledge ? if that is not so , what did you do ? "
በመጡም ጊዜ ( አላህ ) ይላቸዋል « በአንቀጾቼ እርሷን በማወቅ ያላዳረሳችሁ ስትሆኑ አስተባበላችሁን ወይስ ምንን ትሠሩ ነበራችሁ »

and why did you not , when you heard it , say : it does not beseem us that we should talk of it ; glory be to thee ! this is a great calumny ?
በሰማችሁትም ጊዜ በዚህ ልንናገር ለእኛ አይገባንም ፡ ፡ ጥራት ይገባህ ፡ ፡ ይህ ከባድ ቅጥፈት ነው ፤ አትሉም ነበርን

and warn people of the day when the chastisement shall come to them , then those who were unjust will say : o our lord ! respite us to a near term , ( so ) we shall respond to thy call and follow the apostles . what ! did you not swear before ( that ) there will be no passing away for you !
ሰዎችንም ቅጣቱ የሚመጣባቸውን ቀን አስፈራራቸው ፡ ፡ እነዚያም የበደሉት « ጌታችን ሆይ ! ወደ ቅርበ ጊዜ ድረስ አቆየን ፡ ፡ ጥሪህን እንቀበላለንና መልክተኞቹንም እንከተላለንና » ይላሉ ፡ ፡ « ከአሁን በፊት ( በምድረ ዓለም ) ለእናንተ ምንም መወገድ የላችሁም በማለት የማላችሁ አልነበራችሁምን » ( ይባላሉ ) ፡ ፡
