ከእነርሱም ( ክርክር ) ዘወር በል ፤ ( ተዋቸው ) ፡ ፡ አንተ ምንም ተወቃሽ አይደለህምና ፡ ፡

ያንን ጀርባህን ያከበደውን ( ሸክም ) ፡ ፡

o believers , if you listen to the infidels they will make you turn your backs , and you will be the losers .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! እነዚያን የካዱትን ሰዎች ብትታዘዙ ወደ ኋላችሁ ይመልሱዋችኋል ፡ ፡ ከሳሪዎች ኾናችሁም ትገለበጣላችሁ ፡ ፡

for surely you cannot , make the dead to hear and you cannot make the deaf to hear the call , when they turn back and
አንተም ሙታንን አታሰማም ፡ ፡ ደንቆሮዎችንም ዟሪዎች ሆነው በሸሹ ጊዜ ጥሪን አታሰማም ፡ ፡

the day you will turn your backs and flee , with none to defend you against god . whoever god allows to go astray has none to show him the way .
ወደ ኋላ ዞራችሁ በምትሸሹበት ቀን ፤ ለናንተ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ምንም ጠባቂ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚያጠመው ሰው ለርሱ ምንም አቅኚ የለውም ፡ ፡

allah is therich and you are the poor . if you turn away , he will replace you with another nation , and they will not be like you .
ንቁ ! እናንተ እነዚያ በአላህ መንገድ ትለግሱ ዘንድ የምትጥጠሩ ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ከእናንተም ውስጥ የሚሰስት ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ የሚሰስትም ሰው የሚሰስተው በራሱ ላይ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህም ከበርቴ ነው ፡ ፡ እናንተም ድኾች ናችሁ ፡ ፡ ብትሸሹም ሌሎችን ሕዝቦች ይለውጣል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ( ባለመታዘዝ ) ብጤዎቻችሁ አይኾኑም ፡ ፡

a day when you will turn your backs and flee having no protector from allah , and whomsoever allah sends astray , for him there is no guide .
ወደ ኋላ ዞራችሁ በምትሸሹበት ቀን ፤ ለናንተ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ምንም ጠባቂ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚያጠመው ሰው ለርሱ ምንም አቅኚ የለውም ፡ ፡

" if you turn away , i have conveyed to you the message with which i was sent . my lord will make another people your successors and you cannot harm him in the least .
« ብትዞሩም በእርሱ ወደእናንተ የተላክሁበትን ነገር በእርግጥ አድርሼላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ ከእናንተ ሌላ ሕዝብም ይተካል ምንም አትጎዱትምም ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ተጠባባቂ ነውና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

if you turn away , then he is responsible for what he is charged with and you are responsible for what you are charged with . if you obey him , you will be rightly guided .
« አላህን ተገዙ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛውንም ታዘዙ ፤ ብትሸሹም ( አትጎዱትም ) ፡ ፡ በእርሱ ላይ ያለበት የተገደደውን ማድረስ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ በእናንተም ላይ ያለባችሁ የተገደዳችሁት ( መታዘዝ ) ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡ ብትታዘዙትም ትምመራላችሁ ፡ ፡ በመልእክተኛውም ላይ ግልጽ ማድረስ እንጂ ሌላ የለበትም » በላቸው ፡ ፡

i swear by god i will do something to your idols when you have turned your backs and gone . "
« በአላህም እምላለሁ ዟሪዎች ኾናችሁ ከሄዳችሁ በኋላ ጣዖቶቻችሁን ተንኮል እሠራባቸዋለሁ » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

how could you turn back to disbelief when the words of god are recited to you and you have in your midst his messenger ? those who seek the protection of god will certainly be guided to the right path .
የአላህም አንቀጾች በእናንተ ላይ የሚነበቡ ሲኾኑ መልክተኛውም በውስጣችሁ ያለ ሲኾን እናንተ እንዴት ትክዳላችሁ በአላህም የሚጠበቅ ሰው ወደ ቀጥተኛው መንገድ በእርግጥ ተመራ ፡ ፡

and obey god , and obey the messenger ; but if you turn your backs , it is only for the messenger to deliver the manifest message .
አላህንም ተገዙ ፤ መልክተኛውንም ታዘዙ ፤ ብትዞሩም ( መልክተኛውን አትጎዱም ) ፤ በመልክተኛውም ላይ ያለበት ግልጽ ማድረስ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

" so if you turn away , still i have conveyed the message with which i was sent to you . my lord will make another people succeed you , and you will not harm him in the least .
« ብትዞሩም በእርሱ ወደእናንተ የተላክሁበትን ነገር በእርግጥ አድርሼላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ ከእናንተ ሌላ ሕዝብም ይተካል ምንም አትጎዱትምም ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ በነገሩ ሁሉ ላይ ተጠባባቂ ነውና » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and obey god and obey the messenger , and beware ; but if you turn your backs , then know that it is only for our messenger to deliver the message manifest .
አላህንም ተገዙ ፡ ፡ መልክተኛውንም ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ ተጠንቀቁም ፡ ፡ ብትሸሹም ፤ በመልክተኛችን ላይ ያለበት ግልጽ ማድረስ ብቻ መኾኑን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡

indeed god has helped you on many occasions , even during the battle of hunain , when you were elated with joy at your numbers which did not prove of the least avail , so that the earth and its vast expanse became too narrow for you , and you turned back and retreated .
አላህም በብዙ ስፍራዎች በእርግጥ ረዳችሁ ፤ የሑነይንም ቀን ብዛታችሁ በአስደነቀቻችሁና ከእናንተም ምንም ባልጠቀመቻችሁ ጊዜ ምድርም ከስፋቷ ጋር በጠበበቻችሁና ከዚያም ተሸናፊዎች ኾናችሁ በዞራችሁ ጊዜ ( ረዳችሁ ) ፡ ፡

allah has helped you on many a battlefield . in the battle of hunain , when your numbers were pleasing you they availed you nothing ; the earth , for all its vastness , seemed to close in upon you and you turned your backs and fled .
አላህም በብዙ ስፍራዎች በእርግጥ ረዳችሁ ፤ የሑነይንም ቀን ብዛታችሁ በአስደነቀቻችሁና ከእናንተም ምንም ባልጠቀመቻችሁ ጊዜ ምድርም ከስፋቷ ጋር በጠበበቻችሁና ከዚያም ተሸናፊዎች ኾናችሁ በዞራችሁ ጊዜ ( ረዳችሁ ) ፡ ፡

he will provide you with a good provision for a specified term and grant his grace to every meritorious person . but if you turn your backs [ on him ] , indeed i fear for you the punishment of a terrible day .
ጌታችሁንም ምሕረትን ለምኑት ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ወደእርሱ ተመለሱ ፡ ፡ እስከተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ መልካምን መጥቀም ይጠቅማችኋልና ፡ ፡ የትሩፋትንም ባለቤት ሁሉ ችሮታውን ( ምንዳውን ) ይሰጠዋል ፡ ፡ ብትሸሹም እኔ በእናንተ ላይ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡

" a day when ye shall turn your backs and flee : no defender shall ye have from allah : any whom allah leaves to stray , there is none to guide ...
ወደ ኋላ ዞራችሁ በምትሸሹበት ቀን ፤ ለናንተ ከአላህ ( ቅጣት ) ምንም ጠባቂ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ አላህም የሚያጠመው ሰው ለርሱ ምንም አቅኚ የለውም ፡ ፡

god has given you victory in numerous regions ; but on the day of hunayn , your great number impressed you , but it availed you nothing ; and the land , as spacious as it was , narrowed for you ; and you turned your backs in retreat .
አላህም በብዙ ስፍራዎች በእርግጥ ረዳችሁ ፤ የሑነይንም ቀን ብዛታችሁ በአስደነቀቻችሁና ከእናንተም ምንም ባልጠቀመቻችሁ ጊዜ ምድርም ከስፋቷ ጋር በጠበበቻችሁና ከዚያም ተሸናፊዎች ኾናችሁ በዞራችሁ ጊዜ ( ረዳችሁ ) ፡ ፡

and : ' ask forgiveness of your lord , then repent to him , and he will give you fair enjoyment unto a term stated , and he will give of his bounty to every man of grace . but if you should turn your backs i fear for you the chastisement of a mighty day ;
ጌታችሁንም ምሕረትን ለምኑት ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ወደእርሱ ተመለሱ ፡ ፡ እስከተወሰነ ጊዜ ድረስ መልካምን መጥቀም ይጠቅማችኋልና ፡ ፡ የትሩፋትንም ባለቤት ሁሉ ችሮታውን ( ምንዳውን ) ይሰጠዋል ፡ ፡ ብትሸሹም እኔ በእናንተ ላይ የታላቁን ቀን ቅጣት እፈራላችኋለሁ ፡ ፡
