Ինչո՞ւ դուք անձնապէս արժանին չէք ընտրում:

jesus therefore answered and said unto them, murmur not among yourselves.
Յիսուս պատասխանեց եւ ասաց նրանց. «Մի՛ քրթմնջէք իրար մէջ.

wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.
Ապա ուրեմն դուք ինքներդ ձեր մասին վկայում էք, թէ որդիներն էք նրանց, որոնք կոտորում էին մարգարէներին:

gather yourselves together, and hear, ye sons of jacob; and hearken unto israel your father.
Հաւաքուեցէ՛ք եւ լսեցէ՛ք, Յակոբի որդիներ, լսեցէ՛ք ձեր հայր Իսրայէլին:

and he took the cup, and gave thanks, and said, take this, and divide it among yourselves:
Եւ, բաժակը վերցնելով, գոհութիւն յայտնեց Աստծուն եւ ասաց. «Առէ՛ք այս եւ բաժանեցէ՛ք ձեր մէջ.

but jesus turning unto them said, daughters of jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.
Յիսուս դարձաւ եւ ասաց նրանց. «Երուսաղէմի՛ դուստրեր, ինձ վրայ լաց մի՛ եղէք, այլ լա՛ց եղէք ձեր եւ ձեր որդիների վրայ,

lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:
«Գանձեր մի՛ դիզէք ձեզ համար երկրի վրայ, ուր ցեց եւ ժանգ ոչնչացնում են, եւ ուր գողեր պատերն են ծակում ու գողանում,

and he came to capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, what was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way?
Եկաւ Կափառնայում եւ, երբ տուն մտաւ, աշակերտներին հարցրեց. «Ճանապարհին իրար հետ ինչի՞ մասին էիք վիճում»:

and as for the perfume which thou shalt make, ye shall not make to yourselves according to the composition thereof: it shall be unto thee holy for the lord.
Ձեզ համար նոյն բաղադրութեամբ խունկ մի՛ պատրաստէք, որովհետեւ դա ձեզ համար սրբութիւն պիտի լինի Տիրոջ առաջ:

and take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
«Զգո՛յշ եղէք ինքներդ ձեզնից. գուցէ ձեր սրտերը ծանրանան զեխութեամբ եւ հարբեցողութեամբ ու աշխարհիկ հոգսերով. եւ յանկարծակի հասնի ձեր վրայ այն օրը.

and he said, woe unto you also, ye lawyers! for ye lade men with burdens grievous to be borne, and ye yourselves touch not the burdens with one of your fingers.
Եւ նա ասաց. «Վա՜յ ձե՛զ եւս, օրէնսգէտնե՛ր, որ մարդկանց դժուարակիր բեռներ էք բարձում, բայց դուք ինքներդ մէկ մատով իսկ բեռներին չէք դիպչում:

and he said unto them, come ye yourselves apart into a desert place, and rest a while: for there were many coming and going, and they had no leisure so much as to eat.
Եւ Յիսուս նրանց ասաց. «Եկէ՛ք դուք առանձին մի ամայի տեղ ու մի քիչ հանգստացէ՛ք». որովհետեւ եկող-գնացողները շատ էին. եւ հաց ուտելու անգամ ժամանակ չունէին:

there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth, when ye shall see abraham, and isaac, and jacob, and all the prophets, in the kingdom of god, and you yourselves thrust out.
Այնտեղ կը լինի լաց եւ ատամների կրճտում, երբ տեսնէք Աբրահամին, Իսահակին, Յակոբին եւ բոլոր մարգարէներին Աստծու արքայութեան մէջ, իսկ ձեզ՝ դուրս հանուած:

bring forth therefore fruits worthy of repentance, and begin not to say within yourselves, we have abraham to our father: for i say unto you, that god is able of these stones to raise up children unto abraham.
Այսուհետեւ ապաշխարութեան արժանի պտուղներ տուէ՛ք եւ մի՛ սկսէք ասել, թէ Աբրահամին ունենք իբրեւ հայր. այս ասեմ ձեզ, որ Աստուած կարող է այս քարերից անգամ դուրս բերել Աբրահամի որդիներ:

and thou shalt set bounds unto the people round about, saying, take heed to yourselves, that ye go not up into the mount, or touch the border of it: whosoever toucheth the mount shall be surely put to death:
Ժողովրդի ու լերան միջեւ տարածութիւն կը թողնես եւ կ՚ասես. «Զգո՛յշ եղէք, լերան վրայ մարդ չբարձրանայ ու դրան չմօտենայ, որովհետեւ ով մօտենայ լերան, մահուամբ պիտի պատժուի:
