and to this agree the words of the prophets; as it is written,
ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲪⲀⲒ ⲤⲈϮⲘⲀϮ ⲚⲈⲘⲀϤ ⲚϪⲈⲚⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲚⲦⲈⲚⲒⲠⲢⲞⲪⲎⲦⲎⲤ ⲔⲀⲦⲀ ⲪⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲦⲤϦⲎⲞⲨⲦ

now it was not written for his sake alone, that it was imputed to him;

then said i, lo, i come (in the volume of the book it is written of me,) to do thy will, o god.

and that the gentiles might glorify god for his mercy; as it is written, for this cause i will confess to thee among the gentiles, and sing unto thy name.

then said paul, i wist not, brethren, that he was the high priest: for it is written, thou shalt not speak evil of the ruler of thy people.
