these are they who have lost their souls, and hath strayed from them that which they have been fabricating.
އެއުރެންނީ، އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތައް ގެއްލެނިކުޅަ މީހުންނެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން ހަދައި އުޅުނު ދޮގުތައް، އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން ގެއްލިގެން ހިނގައްޖެއެވެ.

behold! how they lied against themselves! and then failed them that which they had been fabricating.
އެއުރެންގެ އަމިއްލަ نفس ތަކުގެ މައްޗަށް ދޮގުހެދީ ކިހިނެއްކަން އަދި އެއުރެން ދޮގުން އުފައްދައި އުޅުނު ތަކެތި އެއުރެންގެ ކިބައިން ގެއްލިގެންދިޔައީ ކިހިނަކުންކަން ތިބާ ދެކޭށެވެ!

and they will proffer sub mission unto allah on that day, and there will stray from them that which they have been fabricating.
އަދި އެއުރެން އެދުވަހުން، اللَّه އަށް تسليم ކުރާނެތެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެން އަމިއްލަޔަށް ހަދައިގެން އުޅުނު باطل إله ންތައް، އެއުރެންނަށް ގެއްލިގެންދާނެތެވެ.

and they appoint for that which they knew not a portion of that wherewith we have provided them by allah! ye will surely be questioned regarding that which ye have been fabricating.
ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ އެއުރެންނަށް ދެއްވި ތަކެތިން ބައެއް، އެއުރެންނަށް އެނގުމެއްނުވާ ތަކެއްޗަށް (އެބަހީ: ބުދުތަކަށް) ދީއުޅެތެވެ. اللَّه ގަންދެއްވައި وحى ކުރައްވަމެވެ. ތިޔަބައިމީހުން، ހަދައިއުޅުނު ދޮގުތަކާމެދު، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންނާ سؤال ކުރައްވާ ހުށްޓެވެ.

they will surely perish who kill their offspring in ignorance foolhardily, and forbid the food that god has given them by fabricating lies against god. misguided are they surely, and will never come to guidance.
އެއްވެސް علم އަކާނުލައި، ޖާހިލުކަމުން އެއުރެންގެ ދަރިން قتل ކޮށް، އެއުރެންނަށް اللَّه ދެއްވި ތަކެތި، اللَّه އަށް ދޮގުހެދުމުގެ ގޮތުން، حرام ކުޅަ މީހުން، ގެއްލި ހަލާކުވެއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އެއުރެން މަގުފުރެދިއްޖެކަން يقين އެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަކީ، ތެދުމަގު ލިބިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވެސް ނުވެއެވެ.

lost are those who, without knowledge, have foolishly slain their own children and made unlawful that which allah has provided them, fabricating lies about allah. they have gone astray and are not guided.
އެއްވެސް علم އަކާނުލައި، ޖާހިލުކަމުން އެއުރެންގެ ދަރިން قتل ކޮށް، އެއުރެންނަށް اللَّه ދެއްވި ތަކެތި، اللَّه އަށް ދޮގުހެދުމުގެ ގޮތުން، حرام ކުޅަ މީހުން، ގެއްލި ހަލާކުވެއްޖެކަން ކަށަވަރެވެ. އެއުރެން މަގުފުރެދިއްޖެކަން يقين އެވެ. އަދި އެއުރެންނަކީ، ތެދުމަގު ލިބިގެންވާ ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައިވެސް ނުވެއެވެ.

we would be fabricating a lie against allah should we revert to your creed after allah had delivered us from it. it does not behoove us to return to it, unless allah, our lord, should wish so.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ دين އަށް، ތިމަންމެން އެނބުރި ހިނގައްޖެނަމަ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންމެންވާހުށީ، اللَّه، ތިމަންމެން އެ دين ން މިންޖުކުރެއްވުމަށް ފަހުގައި، اللَّه އާމެދު، ދޮގެއްހެދި ބަޔަކު ކަމުގައެވެ. އަދި ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރި اللَّه އިރާދަކުރައްވައިފިއްޔާ މެނުވީ، ތިމަންމެންނަކަށް އެ دين އަށް އެނބުރިއެއް ނުދެވޭނެތެވެ. ތިމަންމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ ދެނެވޮޑިގަތުން، ހުރިހާ އެއްޗަކަށް ތަނަވަސްވެގެންވެއެވެ. ތިމަންމެން ވަކީލުކުރަނީ، اللَّه އަށެވެ. އަޅަމެންގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާކޮ! އަޅަމެންނާއި، އަޅަމެންގެ قوم ގެމީހުންނާ ދެމެދު، حق ގޮތުގައި حكم ކުރައްވާނދޭވެ! އިބަރަސްކަލާނގެއީ، حكم ކުރައްވާ އެންމެހެޔޮ ރަސްކަލާނގެއެވެ.

and do not utter falsehoods by letting your tongues declare: "this is lawful" and "that is unlawful," thus fabricating lies against allah. surely those who fabricate lies against allah will never prosper.
اللَّه އާމެދު، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ދޮގުހެދުމަށްޓަކައި، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ދޫތަކުން ދޮގުތައްހަދައި، ސިފަކޮށް އުޅޭކަންތަކަށް، މިއީ حلال ކަމެކޭ، އަދި މިއީ حرام ކަމެކޭ ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުބުނާށެވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، اللَّه އާމެދު، ދޮގުހަދާމީހުން ނުދިނޭހުށްޓެވެ.
