އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ خزانة ތައް އެބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތުގައި ވަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެކަންކަމުގެ ބާރު، އެއުރެންނަށް ލިބިގެންވަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

do they possess knowledge of the unseen, so that they can write it down?
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ފަހެ، އެއުރެން އެއިން ލިޔުމަށް އެއުރެންގެ ގާތުގައި غيب ގެ علم ވަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

do they possess the treasuries of your lord? or do they control [them]?
އަދި ކިއެއްތަ! ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ވެރިރަސްކަލާނގެ خزانة ތައް އެބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތުގައި ވަނީހެއްޔެވެ؟ ނުވަތަ އެކަންކަމުގެ ބާރު، އެއުރެންނަށް ލިބިގެންވަނީ ހެއްޔެވެ؟

do they possess the treasures of your lord, the most mighty, the great bestower?
ނުވަތަ ކަލޭގެފާނުގެވެރި، ގަދަފަދަވަންތަ، ގިނަގުނަ نعمة ތައް ދެއްވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެ رحمة ގެ خزانة ތައް ވަނީ، އެއުރެންގެ ގާތުގައި ހެއްޔެވެ؟

a book whose revelations are well expounded, an arabic quran for people who possess knowledge,
އެފޮތުގެ آية ތައް تفصيل ކޮށްދެއްވާފައިވާ ފޮތެކެވެ. عرب ބަހުންވާ قرآن އެއްގެ ގޮތުގައެވެ. (އެއީ އެކަން) ދަންނަ ބަޔަކަށްޓަކައެވެ.

do they possess the treasures of the mercy of your lord, the mighty, the great bestower?
ނުވަތަ ކަލޭގެފާނުގެވެރި، ގަދަފަދަވަންތަ، ގިނަގުނަ نعمة ތައް ދެއްވާ ރަސްކަލާނގެ رحمة ގެ خزانة ތައް ވަނީ، އެއުރެންގެ ގާތުގައި ހެއްޔެވެ؟

except from their wives or the legal bondwomen that they possess, for then there is no blame upon them.
އެއުރެންގެ އަނބިންގެމައްޗަށާއި، އެއުރެންނަށް މިލްކުވެގެންވާ އަޅުންގެމައްޗަށް މެނުވީއެވެ. ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނީ (އެކަމުގައި) މަލާމާތް ލިބިގެންނުވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

and lo! in the source of decrees, which we possess, it is indeed sublime, decisive.
އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ حضرة ގައިވާ މައިފޮތުގައި (އެބަހީ: اللوح المحفوظ ގައި) އެފޮތްވަނީ މަތިވެރިވެގެންވާ حكمة ތެރި ފޮތެއް ކަމުގައެވެ.

a day when no soul shall possess aught to succour another soul; that day the command shall belong unto god.
(އެއީ) އެއްވެސް نفس އެއް، އަނެއް نفس އަކަށް އެއްވެސްކަމެއް ކޮށްދިނުން މިލްކުވެގެންނުވާ ދުވަހެވެ. އަދި އެދުވަހުން، أمر ވެރިކަން މިލްކުވެގެންވަނީ (ހަމައެކަނި) اللَّه އަށެވެ.

allah has prepared for them a severe punishment. so be wary of allah, o you who possess intellect and have faith!
اللَّه، އެއުރެންނަށްޓަކައި ގަދަވެގެންވާ عذاب އެއް ތައްޔާރުކުރެއްވިއެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން اللَّه އަށް تقوى ވެރިވާށެވެ! އޭ إيمان ވެގެންތިބި ބުއްދީގެ أهل ވެރިންނޭވެ! ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތަށް ހަނދާންކޮށްދެއްވުމެއް اللَّه ބާވައިލެއްވިއެވެ.

except in the case of their wives or those whom their right hands possess-- for these surely are not to be blamed,
އެއުރެންގެ އަނބިންގެ މައްޗަށާއި، އެއުރެންނަށް މިލްކުވެގެންވާ އަޅުންގެ މައްޗަށް މެނުވީއެވެ. ފަހެ، ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، އެއުރެންނީ (އެކަމުގައި) މަލާމާތް ލިބިގެންނުވާ މީހުންނެވެ.

for what you possess will pass, but what is with god will abide. we shall certainly award those who persevere a recompense in keeping with their deeds.
ތިޔަބައިމީހުންގެ ގާތުގައިވާ އެއްޗެއް ހުސްވެގެން ހިނގައިދާނެތެވެ. އަދި اللَّه ގެ حضرة ގައިވާ އެއްޗެއް ދެމިހުންނާނެތެވެ. އަދި ހަމަކަށަވަރުން، ކެތްތެރިވީ މީހުންނަށް، އެއުރެން عمل ކޮށްއުޅުނު އެންމެ ހެޔޮގޮތުގެ ދަރުމައިން، ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ ޖަޒާ ދެއްވާހުށީމެވެ.

and before thee also the messengers we sent were but men, to whom we granted inspiration: if ye realise this not, ask of those who possess the message.
އަދި ކަލޭގެފާނުގެ ކުރިންވެސް އެބަޔަކަށް ތިމަންރަސްކަލާނގެ وحى އިއްވަވައި، رسول ކަމާއިގެން ފިރިހެނުން މެނުވީ، ނުފޮނުއްވަމެވެ. ފަހެ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން ނުދަންނަ ކަމުގައި ވާނަމަ، ތިޔަބައިމީހުން علم ގެ أهل ވެރިންނާ سؤال ކުރާށެވެ!
