او رتمہارے اسی خیال نے جو تم نے اپنے رب کے حق میں کیا تھا تمہیں برباد کیا پھر تم نقصان اٹھانے والو ں میں سے ہوگئے

it is allah who disposed the sea for you[r benefit] so that the ships may sail in it by his command, that you may seek of his bounty and that you may give thanks.
اللہ ہی نے تمہارے لئے دریا کو لَسخّر کیا ہے کہ اس کے حکم سے کشتیاں چل سکیں اور تم اس کے فضل و کرم کو تلاش کرسکو اور شاید اس کا شکریہ بھی ادا کرسکو

he has disposed for you[r benefit] whatever is in the heavens and whatever is on the earth; all is from him. there are indeed signs in that for a people who reflect.
اس نے زمین اور آسمانوں کی ساری ہی چیزوں کو تمہارے لیے مسخر کر دیا، سب کچھ اپنے پاس سے اِس میں بڑی نشانیاں ہیں اُن لوگوں کے لیے جو غور و فکر کرنے والے ہیں

holy is he who carried his servant by night from the holy mosque (in makkah) to the farther mosque (in jerusalem) whose surroundings we have blessed that we might show him some of our signs. indeed he alone is all-hearing, all-seeing.
وہ (ذات) پاک ہے جو ایک رات اپنے بندے کو مسجدالحرام یعنی (خانہٴ کعبہ) سے مسجد اقصیٰ (یعنی بیت المقدس) تک جس کے گردا گرد ہم نے برکتیں رکھی ہیں لے گیا تاکہ ہم اسے اپنی (قدرت کی) نشانیاں دکھائیں۔ بےشک وہ سننے والا (اور) دیکھنے والا ہے
