Мо шуморо аз азобе наздик метарсонем: рӯзе, ки одамӣ ҳар чиро пешопеш фиристодааст, менигарад ва кофир мегӯяд: «Эй кош, ман хок мебудам!»

but should a bounty from allah come to you, he will say—as if there were no [tie of friendship and] affection between you and him—‘i wish i were with them so that i had achieved a great success!’
Ва чун моле аз ҷониби Худо насибатон шавад, чунон ки гӯӣ миёнатон ҳеҷ гуна дӯстие набудааст, гӯяд; «Эй кош, ман низ бо онҳо мебудам ва ба фондае бузург даст меёфтам!»

he said, “o my people! what is your opinion – if i am on a clear proof from my lord and he has bestowed me with an excellent sustenance from him (shall i ignore all this?); and the matter i forbid you to do, i do not wish that i myself act against it; i only intend to make improvements as far possible; my guidance is only from allah; i rely only upon him and towards him only do i incline.”
Гуфт: «Эй қавми ман, чӣ мегӯед, агар бо ман аз ҷониби Парвардигорам ҳуҷҷате бошад ва Ӯ маро ризқе некӯ ато карда бошад? Агар шуморо манъ мекунам, барои он нест, ки худ суде бибарам.
