and when they are cast, bound together into a constricted place therein, they will plead for destruction there and then!

and if only you see, when they will be forced into a terror from which they will be unable to escape, and are seized from a place nearby. (wherever they go, they are never far).
Агар бубинӣ, он гоҳ ки сахт битарсанд ва халосиашон набошад ва аз маконе наздик гирифторашон созанд,

[the disbelievers continue] until, when they see that which they are promised, then they will know who is weaker in helpers and less in number.
то он гоҳ ки он чиро ба онҳо ваъда дода буданд, бингаранд. Пас хоҳанд донист, чӣ касеро ёрони нотавонтар ва шумори камтар будааст».

if you should see them when they are stood before the fire, they will say: "ah would that we were sent back (to the world)! we shall not deny the signs of our lord, and be among those who believe."
Агар онҳоро дар он рӯз, ки баробари оташ нигоҳашон доштаанд, бингарӣ, мегӯянд: «Эй кош, моро бозгардонанд, то оёти Парвардигорамонро дурӯғ нагӯем ва аз мӯъминон бошем!»

and give glad tidings to those who believe and do good deeds; that for them are gardens beneath which rivers flow; when they are provided with a fruit of the gardens, they will say, “this is the same food as what was given to us before” whereas it is in resemblance; and in the gardens are pure spouses for them; and they shall abide in it forever.
Ба онон, ки имон овардаанд ва корҳои шоиста кардаанд, мужда деҳ, ки барояшон биҳиштҳоест, ки дар он наҳрҳо ҷорист. Ва ҳар гоҳ, ки аз меваҳои он бархурдор шаванд, гӯянд: «Пеш аз ин дар дунё аз чунин меваҳое бархурдор шуда будем, ки ин меваҳо монанд ба якдигаранд».
