அவர்கள் அடைந்துவிடக்கூடிய ஒரு தவணை வரை வேதனையை அவர்களை விட்டும் நாம் நீக்கியபோது அவர்கள் மாறு செய்தே வந்தனர்.

and of his signs is that you see the land still. but when we send down water upon it, it stirs and grows. surely, he who revived it will revive the dead. he is able to do all things.
பூமியானது காய்ந்து வரண்டு கிடப்பதை நீர் பார்ப்பதும் அவனுடைய அத்தாட்சிகளில் நின்றுள்ளதாகும் அதன் மீது நாம் மழையை பொழியச் செய்தால், அது (புற் பூண்டுகள் கிளம்பிப்) பசுமையாக வளர்கிறது (இவ்வாறு மரித்த பூமியை) உயிர்ப்பித்தவனே, நிச்சயமாக இறந்தவர்களையும் திட்டமாக உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறவன் நிச்சயமாக அவன் எல்லாப் பொருட்கள் மீதும் பேராற்றல் உடையவன்.

shall he then who knows that what has been revealed unto you (o muhammad saw) from your lord is the truth be like him who is blind? but it is only the men of understanding that pay heed.
உம் இறைவனால் உம் மீது நிச்சயமாக இறக்கப்பட்ட (வேதத்)தை உண்மையன அறிகிறவர் குரடராக இருப்பவரைப் போலாவாரா? நிச்சயமாக (இவ்வேதத்தின் மூலம்) அறிவுடையவர்கள் தாம் நல்லுபதேசம் பெறுவார்கள்.

and when we show favour to man, he withdraws and turns away, but when evil touches him, then he has recourse to long supplications.
அன்றியும், மனிதனுக்கு நாம் அருள் புரிந்தால் அவன் (நன்றியுணர்வின்றி) நம்மைப் புறக்கணித்து, விலகிச் செல்கிறான் - ஆனால் அவனை ஒரு கெடுதி தீண்டினால் நீண்ட பிரார்த்தனை செய்(பவனா)கின்றான்.

and of his signs is that you see the earth stilled, but when we send down upon it rain, it quivers and grows. indeed, he who has given it life is the giver of life to the dead. indeed, he is over all things competent.
பூமியானது காய்ந்து வரண்டு கிடப்பதை நீர் பார்ப்பதும் அவனுடைய அத்தாட்சிகளில் நின்றுள்ளதாகும் அதன் மீது நாம் மழையை பொழியச் செய்தால், அது (புற் பூண்டுகள் கிளம்பிப்) பசுமையாக வளர்கிறது (இவ்வாறு மரித்த பூமியை) உயிர்ப்பித்தவனே, நிச்சயமாக இறந்தவர்களையும் திட்டமாக உயிர்ப்பிக்கிறவன் நிச்சயமாக அவன் எல்லாப் பொருட்கள் மீதும் பேராற்றல் உடையவன்.
