c’è una grande responsabilità oggettiva della società civile che non riesce più a creare sufficienti luoghi extra-economici capaci di generare nei giovani e nelle persone altre virtù diverse da quelle economiche. la scuola, ad esempio, dovrebbe essere insieme alla famiglia il principale contrappeso della cultura aziendalista, perché è proprio della scuola insegnare nei bambini e nei giovani soprattutto le virtù non utilitaristiche e non strumentali, che valgono anche se (o proprio perché) non hanno un prezzo. e invece stiamo assistendo in tutto il mondo ad una occupazione della scuola da parte della logica e dei valori dell’impresa (merito, incentivi, competizione …), dove dirigenti, docenti e studenti vengono valutati e formati ai valori delle imprese.
