he has kept for you the same path of religion which he commanded nooh, and what we divinely reveal to you (o dear prophet mohammed – peace and blessings be upon him), and what we had commanded to ibrahim and moosa and eisa that, “keep the religion proper, and do not create divisions in it”; the polytheists find the matter what you call them to as intolerable; allah chooses for his proximity whomever he wills, and guides towards himself whoever inclines (towards him).

na shikamaneni kwa kamba ya mwenyezi mungu nyote pamoja, wala msifarikiane. na kumbukeni neema ya mwenyezi mungu iliyo juu yenu: vile mlivyo kuwa nyinyi kwa nyinyi maadui naye akaziunganisha nyoyo zenu; kwa neema yake mkawa ndugu.
all of you united hold fast to the rope of god (the quran and his messenger), and recall how he favored you when your hostility to each other had torn you apart. he united your hearts in one faith and through his grace you became brothers.
