and await ; as verily we are awaiting .
ተጠባበቁም እኛ ተጠባባቂዎች ነንና ( በላቸው ) ፡ ፡

say : ' await ! i shall be awaiting with you . '
« ተጠባበቁ ፤ እኔም ከእናንተ ጋር ከሚጠባበቁት ነኝ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

they are awaiting only for one cry to seize them while they are yet disputing ,
እነርሱ የሚከራከሩ ሲኾኑ በድንገት የምትይዛቸው የኾነችን አንዲትን ጩኸት እንጂ ሌላን አይጠባበቁም ፡ ፡

wherefore turn aside thou from them , and await ; verily they are awaiting .
እነርሱንም ተዋቸው ፡ ፡ ተጠባበቅም ፤ እነርሱ ተጠባባቂዎች ናቸውና ፡ ፡

these are only awaiting for a single cry , to which there is no delay .
እነዚህም ለእርሷ መመለስ የሌላትን አንዲትን ጩኸት እንጅ ሌላን አይጠባበቁም ፡ ፡

are they awaiting anything other than the last hour that it should suddenly come upon them without their even perceiving it ?
ሰዓቲቱን እነርሱ የማያውቁ ኾነው በድንገት ልትመጣባቸው እንጅ ይጠባበቃሉን ?

and if thou turnest away from them awaiting a mercy from thy lord which thou hopest , then speak unto them a gentle speech .
ከጌታህም የምትከጅላትን ጸጋ ለማጣት ከእነርሱ ብትዞር ለእነሱ ልዝብን ቃል ተናገራቸው ፡ ፡

so turn aside from them ( o muhammad saw ) and await , verily they ( too ) are awaiting .
እነርሱንም ተዋቸው ፡ ፡ ተጠባበቅም ፤ እነርሱ ተጠባባቂዎች ናቸውና ፡ ፡

and if you [ must ] turn away from the needy awaiting mercy from your lord which you expect , then speak to them a gentle word .
ከጌታህም የምትከጅላትን ጸጋ ለማጣት ከእነርሱ ብትዞር ለእነሱ ልዝብን ቃል ተናገራቸው ፡ ፡

and others are awaiting the decree of allah , whether he shall torment them or whether he will relent toward them ; and allah is knowing , wise .
ሌሎችም ለአላህ ትዕዛዝ የተቆዩ ሕዝቦች አልሉ ፡ ፡ ወይ ይቀጣቸዋል ወይም ከነሱ ላይ ጸጸትን ይቀበላል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

others are held in suspense , awaiting god s decree ’ , as to whether he will punish them , or accept their repentance . god is aware and wise .
ሌሎችም ለአላህ ትዕዛዝ የተቆዩ ሕዝቦች አልሉ ፡ ፡ ወይ ይቀጣቸዋል ወይም ከነሱ ላይ ጸጸትን ይቀበላል ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ጥበበኛ ነው ፡ ፡

so he went forth therefrom , fearing , awaiting , ( and ) he said : my lord ! deliver me from the unjust people .
የፈራና የሚጠባበቅ ሆኖም ከእርሷ ወጣ ፡ ፡ « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ከበደለኞቹ ሕዝቦች አድነኝ » አለ ፡ ፡

among the believers are men who were true to their covenant with god ; some of them have fulfilled their vow by death , and some are still awaiting , and they have not changed in the least ;
ከአማኞቹ በእርሱ ላይ ለአላህ ቃል ኪዳን የገቡበትን በእውነት የፈጸሙ ወንዶች አልሉ ፡ ፡ ከነርሱም ስለቱን የፈጸመ ( ለሃይማኖቱ የተገደለ ) አልለ ፤ ከነርሱም ገና የሚጠባበቅ አልለ ፡ ፡ ( የገቡበትን ቃል ) መለወጥንም አልለወጡም ፡ ፡

say : every one ( of us ) is awaiting , therefore do await : so you will come to know who is the follower of the even path and who goes aright .
« ሁሉም ተጠባባቂ ነው ፡ ፡ ተጠባበቁም ፡ ፡ የቀጥታውም መንገድ ባለቤቶች እነማን እንደሆኑ እነማንም እንደ ተመሩ ወደ ፊት ታውቃላችሁ » በላቸው ፡ ፡

and he was in the city , fearing , awaiting , when lo ! he who had asked his assistance the day before was crying out to him for aid . musa said to him : you are most surely one erring manifestly .
