እርሱ ( አላህን ) የሚፈራ ሲኾን ፤

the fire of god kindled
የተነደደችው የአላህ እሳት ናት ፡ ፡

and who has fear of god ,
እርሱ ( አላህን ) የሚፈራ ሲኾን ፤

have fear of god and obey me .
« አላህንም ፍሩ ታዘዙኝም ፡ ፡

but the sincere servants of god
ግን ምርጥ የሆኑት የአላህ ባሮች ( ቅጣትን አይቀምሱም ) ፡ ፡

and is also fearful ( of god ) ,
እርሱ ( አላህን ) የሚፈራ ሲኾን ፤

but the chosen servants of god ;
ግን ምርጥ የሆኑት የአላህ ባሮች ( ቅጣትን አይቀምሱም ) ፡ ፡

but not so the true servants of god ,
ግን የተመረጡት የአላህ ባሮች ( በአላህ ላይ አይዋሹም ) ፡ ፡

those who have fear of god will benefit
( አላህን ) የሚፈራ ሰው በእርግጥ ይገሠጻል ፡ ፡

except for the sincere servants of god .
ምርጥ የሆኑት የአላህ ባሮች ብቻ ሲቀሩ ፡ ፡

peace be with the messengers ( of god ) .
በመልክተኞቹም ላይ ሰላም ይኹኑ ፤

by the angels who float ( in the heavens by the will of god ) ,
መዋኘትም ዋኚዎች በኾኑት ፤

knowing, brethren beloved, your election of god.
በእግዚአብሔር የምትወደዱ ወንድሞች ሆይ፥ እንደ ተመረጣችሁ አውቀናልና።

except the servants of god , sincere and devoted .
ግን የተመረጡት የአላህ ባሮች ( በአላህ ላይ አይዋሹም ) ፡ ፡

and for the good-will of thy lord be thou patient .
ለጌታህም ( ትዕዛዝ ) ታገሥ ፡ ፡

and made no exception ( for the will of allah ) ;
( በመሓላቸው ) አያስቀሩምም ፡ ፡

we would have certainly been sincere servants of god " .
« የአላህ ምርጦች ባሮች በሆን ነበር ፡ ፡ »

without making any allowance ( for the will of allah ) .
( በመሓላቸው ) አያስቀሩምም ፡ ፡

for whosoever shall do the will of god, the same is my brother, and my sister, and mother.
የእግዚአብሔርን ፈቃድ የሚያደርግ ሁሉ፥ እርሱ ወንድሜ ነው እኅቴም እናቴም አለ።

god outspreads and straitens his provision to whomsoever he will of his servants ; god has knowledge of everything .
አላህ ከባሮቹ ለሚሻው ሲሳይን ያሰፋል ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ያጠብባል ፡ ፡ አላህ በነገሩ ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ነውና ፡ ፡
