and then you will certainly die ,
ከዚያም እናንተ ከዚህ በኋላ በእርግጥ ሟቾች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

we shall make you recite and then you will not forget ,
( ቁርኣንን ) በእርግጥ እናስነብብሃለን ፤ አትረሳምም ፡ ፡

o man , you are striving unto your lord and you will meet him .
አንተ ሰው ሆይ ! አንተ ጌታህን ( በሞት ) እስከምትገናኝ ድረስ ልፋትን ለፊ ነህ ፤ ተገናኚውም ነህ ፡ ፡

you will get a spanking when i get home
ኢ ወደ ቤት ስትመለስ ትተማመናለ

" then you will fill your bellies therewith ,
« ከእርሷም ሆዶቻችሁን ሞይዎች ናችሁ ፡ ፡

if you obey a human being like yourselves , then you will be losers .
« ብጤያችሁም የኾነን ሰው ብትታዘዙ እናንተ ያን ጊዜ በእርግጥ የተሞኛችሁ ናቸሁ » ( አሉ ) ፡ ፡

and whether you are killed or you die , towards allah you will be gathered .
ብትሞቱም ወይም ብትገደሉ በእርግጥ ወደ አላህ ብቻ ትሰበሰባላችሁ ፡ ፡

o man ! you are labouring toward your lord laboriously , and you will encounter him .
አንተ ሰው ሆይ ! አንተ ጌታህን ( በሞት ) እስከምትገናኝ ድረስ ልፋትን ለፊ ነህ ፤ ተገናኚውም ነህ ፡ ፡

indeed what you are promised will surely come , and you will not be able to thwart it .
የምትቀጠሩት ሁሉ በእርግጥ መጪ ነው ፡ ፡ እናንተም አምላጮች አይደላችሁም ፡ ፡

then you will dispute before your lord on the day of resurrection .
ከዚያም እናንተ በትንሣኤ ቀን እጌታችሁ ዘንድ ትከራከራላችሁ ፡ ፡

the flames of fire and smoke will be sent on you two , then you will not be able to defend yourselves .
በሁለታችሁም ላይ ከእሳት ነበልባል ፣ ጭስም ይላክባችኋል ፡ ፡ ( ሁለታችሁም ) አትርረዱምም ፡ ፡

if we will , we can turn it into rubble ; then you will lament .
ብነሻ ኖሮ ደረቅ ስብርብር ባደረግነውና የምትደነቁም በኾናችሁ ነበር ፡ ፡

indeed , what you are promised is coming , and you will not cause failure [ to allah ] .
የምትቀጠሩት ሁሉ በእርግጥ መጪ ነው ፡ ፡ እናንተም አምላጮች አይደላችሁም ፡ ፡

and turn to your lord , and submit to him , before the retribution comes upon you . then you will not be helped .
« ቅጣቱም ወደእናንተ ከመምጣቱና ከዚያም የማትርረዱ ከመኾናችሁ በፊት ወደ ጌታችሁ ( በመጸጸት ) ተመለሱ ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ታዘዙ ፡ ፡

he gave you life when you were dead . he will make you die again then bring you back to life : to him then you will return .
ሙታን የነበራችሁ ስትኾኑ ሕያው ያደረጋችሁ ከዚያም የሚገድላችሁ ከዚያም ሕያው የሚያደርጋችሁ ሲኾን ከዚያም ወደርሱ የምትመለሱ ስትኾኑ በአላህ እንዴት ትክዳለችሁ !

o my people ! enter the holy land which allah has prescribed for you and turn not on your backs for then you will turn back losers .
« ሕዝቦቼ ሆይ ! ያችን አላህ ለእናንተ ያደረጋትን የተቀደሰችውን መሬት ግቡ ፡ ፡ ወደ ኋላችሁም አትመለሱ ፡ ፡ ከሳሪዎች ኾናችሁ ትመለሳላችሁና ፡ ፡ »

allah originates the creation , then he will bring it back , then you will be brought back to him .
አላህ መፍጠርን ይጀምራል ፡ ፡ ከዚያም ይመልሰዋል ፤ ከዚያም ወደርሱ ትመለሳላችሁ ፡ ፡

and do not incline to the wrongdoers lest you are touched by the fire , for then you shall not be helped . you have no guardians other than allah .
ወደእነዚያም ወደ በደሉት አትጠጉ ፡ ፡ እሳት ትነካችኋለችና ፡ ፡ ከአላህም ሌላ ጠባቂዎች የሏችሁም ፡ ፡ ከዚያም አትረድዱም ፡ ፡

and return [ in repentance ] to your lord and submit to him before the punishment comes upon you ; then you will not be helped .
« ቅጣቱም ወደእናንተ ከመምጣቱና ከዚያም የማትርረዱ ከመኾናችሁ በፊት ወደ ጌታችሁ ( በመጸጸት ) ተመለሱ ፡ ፡ ለእርሱም ታዘዙ ፡ ፡

do not incline toward the wrongdoers , lest the fire should touch you , and you will not have any friend besides allah ; then you will not be helped .
ወደእነዚያም ወደ በደሉት አትጠጉ ፡ ፡ እሳት ትነካችኋለችና ፡ ፡ ከአላህም ሌላ ጠባቂዎች የሏችሁም ፡ ፡ ከዚያም አትረድዱም ፡ ፡
