ብትበቀሉም በርሱ በተቀጣችሁበት ብጤ ተበቀሉ ፡ ፡ ብትታገሱም እርሱ ለታጋሾች በእርግጥ በላጭ ነው ፡ ፡

but if you fail , as you are sure to fail , then guard yourselves against the fire whose fuel is people and stones , prepared for the unbelievers .
( ይህንን ) ባትሠሩ ፈጽሞም አትሠሩትምና ያችን መቀጣጠያዋ ሰዎችና ድንጋዮች የኾነችውን እሳት ተጠበቁ ፤ ለከሓዲዎች ተደግሳለች ፡ ፡

a scripture was revealed to you , so let there be no anxiety in your heart because of it . you are to warn with it — and a reminder for the believers .
( ይህ ) ወደ አንተ የተወረደ መጽሐፍ ነው ፡ ፡ በደረትህም ውስጥ ከእርሱ ጭንቀት አይኑር ፡ ፡ ( የተወረደውም ) በእርሱ ልታስፈራራበትና ለምእምናን መገሠጫ እንዲኾን ነው ፡ ፡

this is for your benefit and for the benefit of travellers . however , it is not lawful for you to hunt on land as long as you are in the sacred precinct .
የባሕር ታዳኝና ምግቡ ለእናንተም ለመንገደኞችም መጠቀሚያ ይኾን ዘንድ ለናንተ ተፈቀደ ፡ ፡ በሐጅም ላይ እስካላችሁ ድረስ የየብስ አውሬ በናንተ ላይ እርም ተደረገ ፡ ፡ ያንንም ወደርሱ የምትሰበሰቡበትን አላህን ፍሩ ፡ ፡

do not consider those who are slain for the cause of god to be dead . they are alive but you are unaware of them .
በአላህ መንገድ ( ለሃይማኖቱ ) የሚገደሉትን ሰዎችም « ሙታን ናቸው » አትበሉ ፡ ፡ በእውነቱ ሕያዋን ናቸው ፤ ግን አታውቁም ፡ ፡

you are indeed the best community that has ever been brought forth for [ the good of ] mankind . you enjoin what is good , and forbid what is evil , and you believe in god .
ለሰዎች ከተገለጸች ሕዝብ ሁሉ በላጭ ኾናችሁ በጽድቅ ነገር ታዛላችሁ ፤ ከመጥፎም ነገር ታዛላችሁ ፤ በአላህም ( አንድነት ) ታምናላችሁ ፡ ፡ የመጽሐፉም ሰዎች ባመኑ ኖሮ ለነርሱ የተሻለ በኾነ ነበር ፡ ፡ ከነርሱ አማኞች አሉ ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቻቸው ግን አመጸኞች ናቸው ፡ ፡

if you are late in performing your service of prayer honour god by remembering him , standing or sitting or lying on your sides . and when you have security perform your act of prayer befittingly ; and praying at fixed hours is prescribed for the faithful .
ሶላትንም በፈጸማችሁ ጊዜ ቆማችሁም ተቀምጣችሁም በጎኖቻችሁም ላይ ተጋድማችሁ አላህን አውሱ ፡ ፡ በረጋችሁም ጊዜ ሶላትን ( አሟልታችሁ ) ስገዱ ፡ ፡ ሶላት በምእምናን ላይ በጊዜያት የተወሰነች ግዴታ ናትና ፡ ፡

reserve something good for your souls ( for the life hereafter ) . have fear of god and know that you are going to meet him .
ሴቶቻችሁ ለናንተ እርሻ ናቸው ፡ ፡ እርሻችሁንም በፈለጋችሁት ኹነታ ድረሱ ፡ ፡ ለነፍሶቻችሁም ( መልካም ሥራን ) አስቀድሙ ፡ ፡ አላህንም ፍሩ ፡ ፡ እናንተም ተገናኝዎቹ መኾናችሁን ዕወቁ ፡ ፡ ምእመናንንም ( በገነት ) አብስር ፡ ፡

and if they should be pregnant , then spend on them until they give birth . and if they breastfeed for you , then give them their payment and confer among yourselves in the acceptable way ; but if you are in discord , then there may breastfeed for the father another woman .
ከችሎታችሁ ከተቀመጣችሁበት ስፍራ አስቀምጧቸው ፡ ፡ በእነርሱም ላይ ልታጣብቡ አትጉዷቸው ፡ ፡ የእርግዝና ባለቤቶችም ቢኾኑ እርጉዛቸውን እስኪወልዱ ድረስ በእነርሱ ላይ ቀልቡ ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ( ልጆቻችሁን ) ቢያጠቡላችሁ ምንዳዎቻቸውን ስጧቸው ፡ ፡ በመካከላችሁም በመልካም ነገር ተመካከሩ ፡ ፡ ብትቸጋገሩም ለእርሱ ሌላ ( ሴት ) ታጠባለታለች ፡ ፡

our lord , do not make us a test for the unbelievers , and forgive us , our lord . surely you are most mighty , most wise . ”
ጌታችን ሆይ ! ለእነዚያ ለካዱት ሰዎች መሞከሪያ አታድርገን ፡ ፡ ለእኛም ምሕረት አድርግልን ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! አንተ አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው አንተ ብቻ ነህ ፡ ፡

make us not a trial for the disbelievers , and forgive us , our lord ! verily , you , only you are the all-mighty , the all-wise . "
ጌታችን ሆይ ! ለእነዚያ ለካዱት ሰዎች መሞከሪያ አታድርገን ፡ ፡ ለእኛም ምሕረት አድርግልን ፡ ፡ ጌታችን ሆይ ! አንተ አሸናፊው ጥበበኛው አንተ ብቻ ነህ ፡ ፡

" o god , our lord , send down a table well laid out with food from the skies so that this day may be a day of feast for the earlier among us and the later , and a token from you . give us our ( daily ) bread , for you are the best of all givers of food . "
የመርየም ልጅ ዒሳ አለ ፡ - « ጌታችን አላህ ሆይ ! ለእኛ ለመጀመሪያዎቻችንና ለመጨረሻዎቻችን ባዕል ( መደሰቻ ) የምትኾንን ከአንተም ተአምር የኾነችን ማእድ ከሰማይ በእኛ ላይ አውርድ ፡ ፡ ስጠንም ፡ ፡ አንተ ከሰጪዎች ሁሉ በላጭ ነህና ፡ ፡ »
