اس دن ظالم اپنے ہاتھوں کو کاٹے گا اور کہے گا کہ کاش میں نے رسول کے ساتھ ہی راستہ اختیار کیا ہوتا

اس (شعیب) نے (موسیٰ سے) کہا کہ میں چاہتا ہوں کہ اپنی دو بیٹیوں میں سے ایک کا عقد نکاح تمہارے ساتھ اس شرط پر کر دوں کہ تم آٹھ سال تک میری خدمت کرو اور اگر دس سال پورے کرو تو یہ تمہاری طرف سے (احسان) ہے اور میں تم پر کوئی سختی نہیں کرنا چاہتا۔ ان شاء اللہ تم مجھے نیکوکار لوگوں میں سے پاؤگے۔
