(اور کہنے لگو): ہم پر تاوان پڑ گیا،

ان لوگوں کی طرح جو ان سے کچھ ہی پہلے گزرے ہیں جنہوں نے اپنے کام کا وبال چکھ لیا اور جن کے لیے المناک عذاب (تیار) ہے

اور بے شک جس نے اپنی مظلو می پر بدلہ لیا ان پر کچھ مواخذہ کی راه نہیں،

they mocked the messengers who lived before you (muhammad), but those who received warnings of punishment and mocked the warnings, all suffered their torments accordingly.
آپ سے پہلے بھی بہت سے پیغمبروں کا مذاق اڑایا جاتا رہا ہے تو (آخرکار) ان کا مذاق اڑانے والوں کو اسی عذاب نے آکر گھیر لیا جس کا وہ مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھے۔

so when they had passed beyond it, [moses] said to his boy, "bring us our morning meal. we have certainly suffered in this, our journey, [much] fatigue."
آگے جا کر موسیٰؑ نے اپنے خادم سے کہا " لاؤ ہمارا ناشتہ، آج کے سفر میں تو ہم بری طرح تھک گئے ہیں"
