(اور کہنے لگو): ہم پر تاوان پڑ گیا،

آپ سے پہلے بھی بہت سے پیغمبروں کا مذاق اڑایا جاتا رہا ہے تو (آخرکار) ان کا مذاق اڑانے والوں کو اسی عذاب نے آکر گھیر لیا جس کا وہ مذاق اڑایا کرتے تھے۔
