Аз ин ки гӯшу чашмҳо ва пӯстҳоятон ба зиёни шумо шоҳидӣ диҳанд, чизе ниҳон намедоштед, балки мепиндоштед, ки Худо бар бисёре аз корҳое, ки мекунед, огоҳ нест.

when it was said to you, "god's promise is true: there is no doubt about the hour," did you not reply, 'we do not know what the hour is.
Чун гуфта мешуд, ки ваъдаи Худо ҳақ аст ва дар қиёмат шакке нест, мегуфтед: «Мо намедонем қиёмат чист?

do not ask about matters which, if disclosed to you, would be disliked by you; and if you ask about them while the qur’an is being sent down, they will be disclosed to you; allah has forgiven these; and allah is oft forgiving, most forbearing.
