on that day, man will say, “where is the escape?”
วันนั้นมนุษย์จะกล่าวขึ้นว่าไหนเล่าทางหนี ?

admonished is he indeed who feareth,
ผู้ที่หวั่นกลัวจะได้รำลึก

and failed is he who buried it!
และแน่นอนผู้หมกมุ่นมัน (ด้วยการทำชั่ว) ย่อมล้มเหลว

accursed is man. how ungrateful is he!
มนุษย์นั้นถูกสังหารเสียก็ดี เขาช่างเนรคุณเสียนี่กระไร

cursed be man! how ungrateful is he!
มนุษย์นั้นถูกสังหารเสียก็ดี เขาช่างเนรคุณเสียนี่กระไร

and that it is he who enriches and impoverishes.
และแท้จริงพระองค์ทรงทำให้เขาร่ำรวย และทรงทำให้เขายากจน

and they shall be told: ‘where is that which you used to worship
และมีเสียงกล่าวแก่พวกเขาว่า ไหนเล่าที่ พวกท่านเคารพภักดี

(self-)destroyed is he, how he planned!
ดังนั้นเขาได้รับความหายนะ เขาจะคาดคะเนได้อย่างไร ?

and it will be said unto them: where is (all) that ye used to worship
และมีเสียงกล่าวแก่พวกเขาว่า ไหนเล่าที่ พวกท่านเคารพภักดี

surely it is he who originates, and brings again,
แท้จริงพระองค์คือผู้ทรงให้บังเกิดครั้งแรก และทรงให้กลับฟื้นคืนชีพขึ้นอีก

deluded away from the qur'an is he who is deluded.
ผู้ที่หันเหออกจากสัจธรรมนั้นเขาจะถูกให้หันเหออกจากการศรัทธา
