und zu meiner grossen freude dauerte es auch nicht lange, bis die monarchfalter hier heimisch waren und praktisch das ganze jahr über fliegen und sich vermehren.

besides of that i had seen at a nearby river bank that there were growing wild blood flowers (asclepias curassavica) and i watched that there were flying lots of monarch butterflies.

diesen anderen monarchfalter-kokon beobachte ich schon seit einigen wochen. er fängt bereits an, sich zu verfärben und hoffentlich kann ich den schlupf des falters fotografieren:
