ጌታችሁም « ብታመሰግኑ በእርግጥ እጨምርላችኋለሁ ብትክዱም ( እቀጣችኋለሁ ) ቅጣቴ በእርግጥ ብርቱ ነውና » በማለት ባስታወቀ ጊዜ ( አስታውሱ ) ፡ ፡

also call to mind when your lord proclaimed : " if you give thanks , i will certainly grant you more ; but if you are ungrateful for my favours , my chastisement is terrible .

he told jesus , " i will save you from your enemies , raise you to myself , keep you clean from the association with the disbelievers , and give superiority to your followers over the unbelievers until the day of judgment . on that day you will all return to me and i shall resolve your dispute .
አላህም ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) ፡ ፡ ዒሳ ሆይ ! እኔ ወሳጂህ ወደ እኔም አንሺህ ነኝ ፡ ፡ ከነዚያም ከካዱት ሰዎች አጥሪህ ነኝ እነዚያንም የተከተሉህን እስከ ትንሣኤ ቀን ድረስ ከነዚያ ከካዱት በላይ አድራጊ ነኝ ፡ ፡ ከዚያም መመለሻችሁ ወደእኔ ነው ፡ ፡ በርሱ ትለያዩበትም በነበራችሁት ነገር በመካከላችሁ እፈርዳለሁ ፡ ፡

obey your lord before the advent of a day from allah , which cannot be averted ; you will not have any refuge on that day , nor will you be able to deny .
ለእርሱ መመለስ የሌለው ቀን ከአላህ ከመምጣቱ በፊት ለጌታችሁ ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ በዚያ ቀን ለእናንተ ምንም መጠጊያ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ምንም መካድ የላችሁም ፡ ፡

respond to your lord before a day arrives that will not be averted [ against god 's will ] . you will not find any refuge from god on that day , nor will you have [ any opportunity ] to deny your sins .
ለእርሱ መመለስ የሌለው ቀን ከአላህ ከመምጣቱ በፊት ለጌታችሁ ታዘዙ ፡ ፡ በዚያ ቀን ለእናንተ ምንም መጠጊያ የላችሁም ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ምንም መካድ የላችሁም ፡ ፡

and ( remember ) when your lord proclaimed : " if you give thanks ( by accepting faith and worshipping none but allah ) , i will give you more ( of my blessings ) , but if you are thankless ( i.e. disbelievers ) , verily ! my punishment is indeed severe . "
