raggiungere l'area delle cave di carrara e' estremamente semplice: una volta arrivati a carrara, nel nord della toscana, tutte le cave sono ben visibili nelle alture alle spalle della città. ci sono quasi trecento cave in questa area, alcune piccole e altre enormi; lepiu' importanti per le cristallizzazioni sono fantiscritti (zolfo, ..), la facciata ( quarzi, ...) e fossa degli angeli. poiche' ad oggi l'attività estrattiva e' molto ridotta la possibilita' di fare buoni ritrovamenti non e' molto alta (...dipende dalla fortuna).
