god is my lord as well as yours . worship him for this is the right path . "
« አላህ ጌታዬና ጌታችሁ ነው ፤ ስለዚህ ተገዙት ፤ ይህ ቀጥተኛ መንገድ ነው » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

and verily thy lord knoweth all that their hearts do hide . as well as all that they reveal .
ጌታህም ልቦቻቸው የሚደብቁትንና የሚገልጹትን ያውቃል ፡ ፡

i trust god who is my lord as well as yours . it is god who controls the destiny of all living creatures .
« እኔ በጌታዬና በጌታችሁ በአላህ ላይ ተጠጋሁ ፡ ፡ በምድር ላይ ምንም ተንቀሳቃሽ የለችም እርሱ አናትዋን የያዛት ብትሆን እንጂ ፡ ፡ ጌታዬ ( ቃሉም ሥራውም ) በቀጥተኛው መንገድ ላይ ነው » ( አላቸው ) ፡ ፡

those are they whose works shall become null in this world as well as the hereafter , and they shall have no helpers .
እነዚያ በቅርቢቱና በመጨረሻይቱ ዓለም ሥራዎቻቸው የተበላሹ ናቸው ፡ ፡ ለእነርሱም ምንም ረዳቶች የሏቸውም ፡ ፡

and we delivered him as well as lut ( removing them ) to the land which we had blessed for all people .
እርሱንና ሉጥንም ወደዚያች ፤ በውስጧ ለዓለማት በረከትን ወደ አደረግንባት ምድር ( በመውሰድ ) አዳን ፡ ፡

and the thamud , the people of lot , as well as the dwellers of the wood , had denied . these were the hordes .
ሰሙድም ፣ የሉጥ ሰዎችም ፣ የአይከት ሰዎችም ( አስተባበሉ ) ፡ ፡ እነዚህ አሕዛቦቹ ናቸው ፡ ፡

> from the fruit of the date palm and the grapes you derive intoxicants as well as wholesome food . surely in this there is a sign for men of understanding .
ከዘምባባዎችና ከወይኖችም ፍሬዎች ( እንመግባችኋለን ) ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ ጠጅንና መልካም ምግብንም ትሠራላችሁ ፡ ፡ በዚህም ውስጥ ለሚያስቡ ሕዝቦች በእርግጥ ተዓምር አልለ ፡ ፡

( baby jesus said ) , " worship god who is my lord as well as yours . this is the straight path " .
( ዒሳ አለ ) « አላህም ጌታዬ ጌታችሁም ነውና ተገዙት ፡ ፡ ይህ ቀጥተኛ መንገድ ነው ፡ ፡ »

and do not kill your children , fearing poverty ; we shall provide sustenance to them as well as to you ; indeed killing them is a great mistake .
ልጆቻችሁንም ድኽነትን ለመፍራት አትግደሉ ፡ ፡ እኛ እንመግባቸዋለን ፡ ፡ እናንተንም ( እንመግባለን ) ፡ ፡ እነርሱን መግደል ታላቅ ኃጢኣት ነውና ፡ ፡

allah hath told us tidings of you . allah and his messenger will see your conduct , and then ye will be brought back unto him who knoweth the invisible as well as the visible , and he will tell you what ye used to do .
ወደእነሱ በተመለሳችሁ ጊዜ ምክንያታቸውን ያቀርቡላችኋል ፡ ፡ አታመካኙ ፤ እናንተን ፈጽሞ አናምንም ፡ ፡ አላህ ከወሬዎቻችሁ በእርግጥ ነግሮናልና ፡ ፡ አላህም ሥራችሁን በእርግጥ ያያል ፡ ፡ መልክተኛውም ( እንደዚሁ ) ፤ ከዚያም ሩቅንና ቅርብን ሁሉ ዐዋቂ ወደ ኾነው ( አላህ ) ትመለሳላችሁ ወዲያውም ትሠሩት የነበራችሁትን ሁሉ ይነግራችኋል በላቸው ፡ ፡

and those who disbelieve say , " when we have become dust as well as our forefathers , will we indeed be brought out [ of the graves ] ?
እነዚያም የካዱት አሉ « እኛም አባቶቻችንም ዐፈር በኾን ጊዜ እኛ ( ከመቃብር ) የምንወጣ ነን

but there are others who pray , " our lord , grant us good in this world as well as good in the world to come , and protect us from the torment of the fire . "
ከእነርሱም ውስጥ ፡ - « ጌታችን ሆይ ! በምድረ ዓለም ደግን ነገር ( ጸጋን ) በመጨረሻይቱም አገር ደግን ነገር ( ገነትን ) ስጠን ፤ የእሳትንም ቅጣት ጠብቀን » የሚሉ ሰዎች አልሉ ፡ ፡

" for me , i intend to let thee draw on thyself my sin as well as thine , for thou wilt be among the companions of the fire , and that is the reward of those who do wrong . "
« እኔ በኃጢአቴና በኃጢአትህ ልትመለስና ከእሳት ጓዶች ልትኾን እሻለሁ ፤ ይኽም የበደለኞች ቅጣት ነው » ( አለ ) ፡ ፡

believers , believe in god and his messenger and in the scripture he sent down to his messenger , as well as what he sent down before . he who denies god , his angels , his scriptures , his messengers and the last day has surely gone far astray .
እናንተ ያመናችሁ ሆይ ! በአላህና በመልክተኛው በዚያም በመልክተኛው ላይ ባወረደው መጽሐፍ በዚያም ከበፊቱ ባወረደው መጽሐፍ እመኑ ፡ ፡ በአላህና በመላእክቱም ፣ በመጽሐፎቹም ፣ በመልክተኞቹም ፣ በመጨረሻውም ቀን ፣ የካደ ሰው ( ከእውነት ) የራቀን መሳሳት በእርግጥ ተሳሳተ ፡ ፡
