and it came to pass, when the children of israel cried unto the lord because of the midianites,
ထိုသို့ မိဒျန်အမျိုးသားတို့ကြောင့်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားအား ဟစ်ကြော်ကြသောအခါ၊

and the lord said unto him, surely i will be with thee, and thou shalt smite the midianites as one man.

and the midianites sold him into egypt unto potiphar, an officer of pharaoh's, and captain of the guard.

then all the midianites and the amalekites and the children of the east were gathered together, and went over, and pitched in the valley of jezreel.

and the men of israel gathered themselves together out of naphtali, and out of asher, and out of all manasseh, and pursued after the midianites.
ဣသရေလလူတို့သည် နဿလိခရိုင်၊ အာရှာခရိုင်၊ မနာရှေခရိုင် အရပ်ရပ်ထဲက စုလာ၍၊ မိဒျန်လူ တို့ကို လိုက်ကြ၏။

and moses spake unto the people, saying, arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the midianites, and avenge the lord of midian.
မောရှေသည်လည်း လူများတို့ကိုခေါ်၍၊ အချို့တို့သည် လက်နက်ကို ကိုင်လျက်၊ မိဒျန်အမျိုးသား တို့သို့ စစ်ချီ၍ ထာဝရဘုရားဘက်၌ တရားစီရင်စေ။

and so it was, when israel had sown, that the midianites came up, and the amalekites, and the children of the east, even they came up against them;
ဣသရေလအမျိုးသည် လယ်လုပ်ပြီးမှ၊ မိဒျန်ပြည်သားနှင့် အာမလက်ပြည်သားအစရှိသော အရှေ့ ပြည်သားတို့သည် ချီလာ၍၊

and the lord said unto gideon, by the three hundred men that lapped will i save you, and deliver the midianites into thine hand: and let all the other people go every man unto his place.
ထာဝရဘုရားကလည်း၊ လျက်၍ သောက်သောသူ သုံးရာအားဖြင့် သင့်ကို ငါကယ်တင်၍ မိဒျန်လူတို့ကို သင့်လက်၌အပ်မည်။ ကြွင်းသောသူတို့ကို မိမိနေရာသို့ ပြန်သွားစေဟု ဂိဒေါင်အား မိန့်တော်မူ၏။

then there passed by midianites merchantmen; and they drew and lifted up joseph out of the pit, and sold joseph to the ishmeelites for twenty pieces of silver: and they brought joseph into egypt.
ထိုအခါ၊ မိဒျန်အမျိုးသား ကုန်သည်တို့သည် ခရီးသွားကြစဉ်တွင်၊ အစ်ကိုတို့သည် ယောသပ်ကို တွင်း ထဲက ဆွဲတင်ပြီးလျင်၊ ငွေအကျပ်နှစ် ဆယ်အဘိုးနှင့် ဣရှမေလလူတို့အား ရောင်း၍၊ ထိုသူတို့သည် ယောသပ် ကိုအဲဂုတ္တုပြည်သို့ ဆောင်သွားကြ၏။

and gideon said unto him, oh my lord, if the lord be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, did not the lord bring us up from egypt? but now the lord hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the midianites.
ဂိဒေါင်က၊ အိုသခင်၊ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့နှင့်အတူ ရှိတော်မူသည် မှန်လျှင် အဘယ်ကြောင့် ဤအမှုကြီး ရောက်ရပါသနည်း။ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် ငါတို့ကို အဲဂုတ္တုပြည်မှ နှုတ်ဆောင်တော်မူသည် မဟုတ်လောဟု အကျွန်ုပ်တို့အဘများ ပြောသည်အတိုင်း ပြုတော်မူသော၊ အံ့ဘွယ်သော အမှုရှိသမျှတို့သည် အဘယ်မှာ ရှိပါသနည်း။ ယခုမှာ ထာဝရဘုရားသည် အကျွန်ုပ်တို့ကို စွန့်၍ မိဒျန်လူတို့လက်သို့ အပ်တော်မူပြီတကားဟု ဆိုလေသော်၊
