ይህ ( ጌታ ) ሙታንን ሕያው በማድረግ ላይ ቻይ አይደለምን ?

and we will surely test you with something of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth and lives and fruits , but give good tidings to the patient ,
ከፍርሃትና ከረኃብም በጥቂት ነገር ፣ ከገንዘቦችና ከነፍሶችም ፣ ከፍራፍሬዎችም በመቀነስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ታጋሾችንም ( በገነት ) አብስር ፡ ፡

we will surely test you with a measure of fear and hunger and a loss of wealth , lives , and fruits ; and give good news to the patient
ከፍርሃትና ከረኃብም በጥቂት ነገር ፣ ከገንዘቦችና ከነፍሶችም ፣ ከፍራፍሬዎችም በመቀነስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ታጋሾችንም ( በገነት ) አብስር ፡ ፡

it is the law of allah which hath taken course aforetime . thou wilt not find for the law of allah aught of power to change .
አላህ ያችን ከዚህ በፊት በእርግጥ ያለፈችውን ልማድ ደነገገ ፡ ፡ ለአላህም ልማድ ለውጥን አታገኝም ፡ ፡

glory to the lord of the heavens and the earth , the lord of power , from what they describe .
የሰማያትና የምድር ጌታ የዙፋኑ ጌታ ከሚሉት ነገር ሁሉ ጠራ ፡ ፡

and we will most certainly try you with somewhat of fear and hunger and loss of property and lives and fruits ; and give good news to the patient ,
ከፍርሃትና ከረኃብም በጥቂት ነገር ፣ ከገንዘቦችና ከነፍሶችም ፣ ከፍራፍሬዎችም በመቀነስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ታጋሾችንም ( በገነት ) አብስር ፡ ፡

and surely we shall try you with something of fear and hunger , and loss of wealth and lives and crops ; but give glad tidings to the steadfast ,
ከፍርሃትና ከረኃብም በጥቂት ነገር ፣ ከገንዘቦችና ከነፍሶችም ፣ ከፍራፍሬዎችም በመቀነስ በእርግጥ እንሞክራችኋለን ፡ ፡ ታጋሾችንም ( በገነት ) አብስር ፡ ፡

[ we said , ] hold ‘ on with power to the book ! ’ and we gave him judgement while still a child ,
« የሕያ ሆይ ! መጽሐፉን በጥብቅ ያዝ ! » ( አልነው ) ፡ ፡ ጥበብንም በሕፃንነቱ ሰጠነው ፡ ፡

god will admit the righteously striving believers to the gardens wherein streams flow . god has all the power to do whatever he wants .
አላህ እነዚያን ያመኑትንና መልካም ሥራዎችን የሠሩትን በሥሮቻቸው ወንዞች የሚፈሱባቸውን ገነቶች ያገባቸዋል ፡ ፡ አላህ የሚሻውን ነገር በእርግጥ ይሠራል ፡ ፡

those whom they call upon , other than him , have no power to intercede ( for them ) , except those that have knowingly borne witness to the truth .
እነዚያም ከአላህ ሌላ የሚግገዟቸው እነርሱ የሚያውቁ ኾነው በእውነት ከመሰከሩት በስተቀር ምልጃን አይችሉም ፡ ፡

therefore , today none of you shall have the power to either benefit or harm one another ' to the evildoers we shall say : ' taste the punishment of the fire , which you belied '
ዛሬም ከፊላችሁ ለከፊሉ መጥቀምንም ኾነ መጉዳትን አይችሉም ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ለበደሉት « ያችን በእርሷ ታስተባብሉባት የነበራችሁትን የእሳት ቅጣት ቅመሱ » እንላቸዋለን ፡ ፡

that day you will have no power to profit or harm each other ; and we shall say to the sinners : " taste the punishment of fire which you had denied . "
ዛሬም ከፊላችሁ ለከፊሉ መጥቀምንም ኾነ መጉዳትን አይችሉም ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ለበደሉት « ያችን በእርሷ ታስተባብሉባት የነበራችሁትን የእሳት ቅጣት ቅመሱ » እንላቸዋለን ፡ ፡

( such was our ) method in the case of those whom we sent before thee ( to mankind ) , and thou wilt not find for our method aught of power to change .
ከመልክተኞቻችን ካንተ በፊት በእርግጥ እንደላክናቸው ሰዎች ልማድ ብጤ ( ይጠፉ ነበር ) ፡ ፡ ለልማዳችንም መለወጥን አታገኝም ፡ ፡

' therefore today none of you shall have power to profit or hurt another . ' and we shall say to the evildoers , ' taste the chastisement of the fire , which you cried lies to ! '
ዛሬም ከፊላችሁ ለከፊሉ መጥቀምንም ኾነ መጉዳትን አይችሉም ፡ ፡ ለእነዚያም ለበደሉት « ያችን በእርሷ ታስተባብሉባት የነበራችሁትን የእሳት ቅጣት ቅመሱ » እንላቸዋለን ፡ ፡

then , can they expect aught save the treatment of the folk of old ? thou wilt not find for allah 's way of treatment any substitute , nor wilt thou find for allah 's way of treatment aught of power to change .
በምድር ላይ ኩራትንና በክፉ ( ተንኮል ) መዶለትንም ( እንጂ አልጨመረላቸውም ፡ ፡ ክፉ ተንኮልም በባለቤቱ ላይ እንጂ በሌላ ላይ አይሰፍርም ፡ ፡ የቀድሞዎቹን ደንብ እንጂ ይጠባበቃሉን ? ለአላህ ደንብም መልለወጥን አታገኝም ፡ ፡ ለአላህ ደንብም መዛወርን አታገኝም ፡ ፡

so they mock at those who have adopted the way of belief , but ( they forget that ) the pious people will rank above them on the day of resurrection . as to the wordly provisions , allah has full authority and power to bestow these without measure on anyone he wills .
ለእነዚያ ለካዱት ከእነዚያ ካመኑት የሚሳለቁ ሲኾኑ ቅርቢቱ ሕይወት ተሸለመችላችው ፡ ፡ እነዚያም የተጠነቀቁት በትንሣኤ ቀን ከበላያቸው ናቸው ፡ ፡ አላህም ለሚሻው ሰው ያለ ግምት ይሰጣል ፡ ፡

and there are some men who worship allah upon an edge ; then if some good occurs to them , they are content ; and if some trial comes , they turn way upon their faces ; a loss of this world and the hereafter ; and this is the complete loss .
ከሰዎችም ( ከሃይማኖት ) በጫፍ ላይ ሆኖ አላህን የሚግገዛ ሰው አልለ ፡ ፡ ታዲያ መልካም ነገር ቢያገኘው በእርሱ ይረጋል ፡ ፡ መከራም ብታገኘው በፊቱ ላይ ይገለበጣል ፡ ፡ የቅርቢቱን ዓለምም የመጨረሻይቱንም ከሰረ ፡ ፡ ይህ እርሱ ግልጽ ከሳራ ነው ፡ ፡

and from what your wives leave , half is for you if they do not have any child ; or if they have a child for you is a fourth of what they leave , after any will they may have made or debt to be paid ; and to the women is a fourth of what you leave behind , if you do not have any child ; or if you have a child then an eighth of what you leave behind , after any will you may have made , or debt to be paid ; and if a deceased does not leave behind a mother , father or children but has a brother or a sister through a common mother , then to each of them a sixth ; and if they ( brothers and sisters ) are more than two , then they shall all share in a third , after any will that may have been made or debt to be paid , in which the deceased has not caused a loss ( to the heirs ) ; this is the decree of allah ; and allah is all knowing , most forbearing .
ለእናንተም ሚስቶቻችሁ ከተዉት ንብረት ለእነርሱ ልጅ ባይኖራቸው ግማሹ አላችሁ ፡ ፡ ለእነሱም ልጅ ቢኖራቸው ከተዉት ሀብት ከአራት አንድ አላችሁ ፡ ፡ ( ይህም ) በእርሷ ከሚናዘዙባት ኑዛዜ ወይም ከዕዳ በኋላ ነው ፡ ፡ ለናንተም ልጅ ባይኖራችሁ ከተዋችሁት ንብረት ለእነርሱ ( ለሚስቶች ) ከአራት አንድ አላቸው ፡ ፡ ለእናንተም ልጅ ቢኖራችሁ ከተዋችሁት ንብረት ለእነርሱ ከስምንት አንድ አላቸው ( ይህም በርሷ ከምትናዘዙባት ኑዛዜ ወይም ከዕዳ በኋላ ነው ፡ ፡ ) ወላጅም ልጅም የሌለው በጎን ወራሾች የሚወርስ ወንድ ወይም ሴት ቢገኝ ለእርሱም ( ለሟቹ ) ወንድም ወይም እኅት ( ከእናቱ በኩል ብቻ የኾነ ) ቢኖር ከሁለቱ ለያንዳንዳቸው ከስድስት አንድ አላቸው ፡ ፡ ከዚህም ( ከአንድ ) የበዙ ቢኾኑ እነርሱ በሲሶው ተጋሪዎች ናቸው ፡ ፡ ( ይህም ወራሾችን ) የማይጎዳ ኾኖ በእርሷ ከሚናዘዙባት ኑዛዜ ወይም ከዕዳ በኋላ ነው ፡ ፡ ከአላህም የኾነን ኑዛዜ ( ያዛችኋል ) ፡ ፡ አላህም ዐዋቂ ቻይ ነው ፡ ፡
