ሌሊትንና ቀንንም ( ለችሎታችን ) ምልክቶች አደረግን ፡ ፡ የሌሊትን ምልክትም አበስን ፡ ፡ የቀንን ምልክትም የምታሳይ አደረግን ፡ ፡ ( ይህም የኾነበት ) ከጌታችሁ ትርፍን ልትፈልጉ የዓመታትንም ቁጥርና ሒሳብንም ታውቁ ዘንድ ነው ፡ ፡ ነገሩንም ሁሉ ለያይተን ዘረዘርነው ፡ ፡

on their account no responsibility falls on the righteous , but ( their duty ) is to remind them , that they may ( learn to ) fear allah .
በእነዚያም በሚጠነቀቁት ላይ ከሒሳባቸው ምንም የለባቸውም ፡ ፡ ግን ይጠነቀቁ ዘንድ መገሰጽ ( አለባቸው ) ፡ ፡

እርሱ ያ ፀሐይን አንጻባራቂ ጨረቃንም አብሪ ያደረገ ነው ፡ ፡ የዓመታትን ቁጥርና ሒሳብን ታውቁ ዘንድም ለእርሱ መስፈሪያዎችን የለካ ነው ፡ ፡ አላህ ይህንን በእውነት እንጂ ( በከንቱ ) አልፈጠረውም ፡ ፡ ለሚያውቁ ሕዝቦች አንቀጾችን ያብራራል ፡ ፡

do they not travel through the land , so that their hearts ( and minds ) may thus learn wisdom and their ears may thus learn to hear ? truly it is not their eyes that are blind , but their hearts which are in their breasts .
