una natura morta di morandi e le ceramiche usate da modello; un sasso vero e un sasso di marmo di penone; reperti archeologici provenienti dall’asia centrale raffiguranti principesse bactriane, regalmente sedute e incredibilmente moderne pur nella loro classicità... lo slittamento logistico verso l’afghanistan, paese che per decenni ha vissuto il trauma della guerra che ha coinvolto buona parte dell’occidente, ha fornito un’altra chiave di lettura della manifestazione: quella di crollo e ricostruzione, attraverso il lavoro di una trentina di artisti esposti in varie sedi della città di kabul. tra i più significativi, il progetto del video artista messicano mario garcia torres, partito dalla ricerca del one hotel, l’albergo gestito da alighiero boetti negli anni settanta e dato per distrutto durante la guerra civile. torres non solo lo ritrova, ma lo riporta allo stato originario, quando ci abitava l’artista.
