adesso sembra che il suo sassofono abbia guadagnato in personalità e presenza, pur partendo dalla lezione di bird, ovviamente, ma anche di phil woods, bud shank, hal mckusick e, perché no, di qualche tenorista come zoot sims o il nostro, indimenticabile, gianni basso. siamo di fronte ad uno “story teller”, che imposta i suoi chorus secondo un pensiero lungo in grado di catturare l’attenzione fin dalle prime note.
