he will cry out for destruction
ба зудӣ, ки бигӯяд: «Вой бар ман, ки ҳалок шудам».

Ва ҳар кӣ аз Худо битарсад, барои ӯ роҳе барои берун шудаи қарор хоҳад дод

allah has made the earth spread out for you
Ва Худо заминро чун фарше бароятон бигустурд,

and the earth—he laid it out for mankind.
Заминро барои мардум қарор дод.

so watch out for the day when the sky brings on a manifest smoke,
Пас мунтазири рӯзе бош, ки осмон ба ошкоро дуд биёварад.

and the earth he laid [out] for the creatures.
Заминро барои мардум қарор дод.

and whoever fears god—he will make a way out for him.
Ва ҳар кӣ аз Худо битарсад, барои ӯ роҳе барои берун шудаи қарор хоҳад дод

and on the day of resurrection, we will bring out for him a book which he will find spread open.
Ва дар рӯзи қиёмат барои ӯ номае кушода берун оварем, то дар он бингарад.

and when they are cast into a narrow place in it, bound, they shall there call out for destruction.
Ва чун дастҳо бар гардан баста дар тангие аз он афтанд, ба дуъо марги худ мехоҳанд.

[once] solomon’s hosts were marched out for him, comprising jinn, humans and birds, and they were held in check.

Кирдори некӯ бади ҳар инсонеро чун тавқе ба гарданаш овехтаем. Ва дар рӯзи қиёмат барои ӯ номае кушода берун оварем, то дар он бингарад.

and from wherever you go out [for prayer], turn your face toward al-masjid al-haram.
Аз ҳар ҷое, ки берун шавӣ, рӯи хеш ба ҷониби Масҷидулҳаром кун.

(when they approached their doom) they cried out (for deliverance), but the time for deliverance was already past.
Онон фарёд мебароварданд, вале гурезгоҳе набуд.

Шумо бо онон пайғоми дӯстӣ меафканед ва ҳол он ки онҳо ба сухани ҳаққе, ки бар шумо омададст, имон надоранд. Ва ба он сабаб, ки ба Худо — Парвардигори худ имон оварда будед, паёмбар ва шуморо берун ронданд.

no one who carries a burden bears another's load; and even if the burdened soul cry out for help none will carry the least of its burden, however close a relative it may be.
Ҳеҷ кас бори гуноҳи дигареро бар дӯш накашад. Ва агар гаронборе касеро ба бардоштани бори худ фарёд кунад, ҳарчанд хешованди ӯ бошад, аз бардоштани он рӯй гардонад.

(then he brought out for them a calf, a mere body that lowed; and they said, 'this is your god, and the god of moses, whom he has forgotten.'
Ва барояшон тандиси (пайкараи) гӯсолае, ки наъраи говонро дошт, бисохт ва гуфтанд: «Ин худоӣ шумо ва худои Мӯсост. Ва Мӯсо фаромуш карда аст».

(allah) said: "get thee down from this: it is not for thee to be arrogant here: get out, for thou art of the meanest (of creatures)."
Туро чӣ расад, ки дар он гарданкашӣ кунӣ? Берун рав, ки ту аз хоршудагонӣ?»
