indeed you, [o muhammad], are from among the messengers,
آپ مرسلین میں سے ہیں

whatever bounties you have are from god. when hardship befalls you, you begin to cry out to him.
اور تمہارے پاس جو بھی نعمت ہے وہ سب اللہ ہی کی طرف سے ہے اور اس کے بعد بھی جب تمہیں کوئی تکلیف چھولیتی ہے تو تم اسی سے فریاد کرتے ہو

and verily those who believe not in the hereafter are from the path deviating.
اور بیشک جو آخرت پر ایما ن نہیں لاتے ضرور سیدھی راہ سے کترائے ہوئے ہیں،

what aileth them, therefore, that they are from the admonition turning away?
آخر انہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ یہ نصیحت سے منہ موڑے ہوئے ہیں

then what is [the matter] with them that they are, from the reminder, turning away
آخر انہیں کیا ہوگیا ہے کہ یہ نصیحت سے منہ موڑے ہوئے ہیں

then there is safety and peace (from the punishment of allah) for (you as you are from) those on the right hand.
تمہارے لئے سلامتی ہو تو اصحاب الیمین میں سے ہے۔

then [the angels will say], "peace for you; [you are] from the companions of the right."
تمہارے لئے سلامتی ہو تو اصحاب الیمین میں سے ہے۔

indeed, those for whom the best [reward] has preceded from us - they are from it far removed.
البتہ بے شک جن کے لئے ہماری طرف سے نیکی پہلے ہی ٹھہر چکی ہے۔ وه سب جہنم سے دور ہی رکھے جائیں گے

they said, ‘we take you and those who are with you for a bad omen.’ he said, ‘your bad omens are from allah. indeed, you are a people being tested.’
ان لوگوں نے کہا کہ ہم نے تم سے اور تمہارے ساتھیوں سے براشگون ہی پایا ہے انہوں نے کہا کہ تمہاری بدقسمتی اللہ کے پاس مقدر ہے اور یہ درحقیقت تمہاری آزمائش کی جارہی ہے
