per fare un esempio molto banale che già facemmo anni fa, si potrebbe replicare l’effetto di gesù che cammina sull’acqua (come ha fatto l’illusionista dynamo sul tamigi), ma non le condizioni in cui egli si trovava (il plexiglass trasparente non era ancora stato inventato e nemmeno il montaggio sapiente dei fotogrammi dell’evento...). in certi casi nemmeno un effetto può essere replicato, e non vi è qui lo spazio per fare la lista completa di quali episodi o fenomeni è impossibile la replica, ma pensiamo in primo luogo ai casi di chiaroveggenza, di telepatia, di guarigioni e di precognizione (il “caso cini” può costituire un ottimo esempio, ma se ne potrebbero fare moltissimi altri), ma anche alle stesse carte da gioco (si veda più avanti).
