and he wrote a letter after this manner:
ⲀϤⲤϦⲀⲒ ⲆⲈ ⲚⲞⲨⲈⲠⲒⲤⲦⲞⲖⲎ ⲈⲞⲨⲞⲚ ⲚⲦⲀⲤ ⲘⲘⲀⲨ ⲚⲞⲨⲦⲨⲠⲞⲤ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ.

but as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation;

for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was.
ⲀϤϮⲚⲒⲀⲦϤ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲘⲘⲞϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲀϤϢⲈ ⲚⲀϤ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲤⲀⲦⲞⲦϤ ⲀϤⲈⲢⲠⲰⲂϢ ⲘⲠⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲈⲚⲀϤⲞⲒ ⲘⲘⲞϤ

after this manner therefore pray ye: our father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name.
ⲦⲰⲂϨ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲚⲐⲰⲦⲈⲚ ⲘⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲠⲈⲚⲒⲰⲦ ⲈⲦϦⲈⲚ ⲚⲒⲪⲎⲞⲨⲒ ⲘⲀⲢⲈϤⲦⲞⲨⲂⲞ ⲚϪⲈⲠⲈⲔⲢⲀⲚ.

and when she saw him, she was troubled at his saying, and cast in her mind what manner of salutation this should be.
ⲚⲐⲞⲤ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲤϢⲐⲞⲢⲦⲈⲢ ⲈϪⲈⲚ ⲠⲀⲒⲤⲀϪⲒ ⲞⲨⲞϨ ⲚⲀⲤⲘⲞⲔⲘⲈⲔ ⲠⲈ ϪⲈ ⲞⲨ ⲀϢ ⲚⲢⲎϮ ⲠⲈ ⲠⲀⲒⲀⲤⲠⲀⲤⲘⲞⲤ.

seeing then that all these things shall be dissolved, what manner of persons ought ye to be in all holy conversation and godliness,
ⲚⲀⲒ ⲞⲨⲚ ⲦⲎⲢⲞⲨ ⲈⲨⲚⲀⲂⲰⲖ ⲈⲂⲞⲖ ⲚⲀⲤⲘⲠϢⲀ ⲚⲦⲈⲦⲈⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲀϢ ⲚⲢⲎϮ ⲚϦⲢⲎⲒ ϦⲈⲚϨⲀⲚϪⲒⲚⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲈⲨⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲚⲈⲘ ϨⲀⲚⲘⲈⲦⲈⲨⲤⲈⲂⲎ Ⲥ

but thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, charity, patience,
ⲚⲐⲞⲔ ⲆⲈ ⲀⲔⲘⲞϢⲒ ⲚⲤⲀⲦⲀⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤϮⲤⲂⲰ ⲚⲤⲀⲠⲀⲤⲘⲞⲦ ⲚⲤⲀⲠⲀϢⲞⲢⲠ ⲚⲐⲰϢ ⲠⲀⲚⲀϨϮ ⲦⲀⲘⲈⲦⲢⲈϤⲰⲞⲨ ⲚϨⲎⲦ ⲦⲀⲀⲄⲀⲠⲎ ⲦⲀϨⲨⲠⲞⲘⲞⲚⲎ.

and because i doubted of such manner of questions, i asked him whether he would go to jerusalem, and there be judged of these matters.

for after this manner in the old time the holy women also, who trusted in god, adorned themselves, being in subjection unto their own husbands:
ⲠⲀⲒⲢⲎϮ ⲄⲀⲢ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲞⲨⲤⲎⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲒϨⲒⲞⲘⲒ ⲈⲐⲞⲨⲀⲂ ⲚⲀⲨⲈⲢϨⲈⲖⲠⲒⲤ ⲈⲪⲚⲞⲨϮ ⲠⲈ ⲚⲀⲨⲤⲞⲖⲤⲈⲖ ⲘⲘⲰⲞⲨ ⲈⲨϬⲚⲞ ⲚϪⲰⲞⲨ ⲚⲚⲞⲨϨⲀⲒ.

and when they were come to him, he said unto them, ye know, from the first day that i came into asia, after what manner i have been with you at all seasons,

and jesus went about all galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.

if after the manner of men i have fought with beasts at ephesus, what advantageth it me, if the dead rise not? let us eat and drink; for to morrow we die.

rejoice ye in that day, and leap for joy: for, behold, your reward is great in heaven: for in the like manner did their fathers unto the prophets.

even as sodom and gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire.

and about the time of forty years suffered he their manners in the wilderness.
