Այդ օրը Եսաւը իր ճանապարհով վերադարձաւ Սէիր,

Եսաւն ասաց. «Ելնենք գնանք ուղիղ ճանապարհով»:

Պատահեց, որ մի քահանայ նոյն ճանապարհով իջնի. նրան տեսաւ եւ թողեց անցաւ.

Եւ երազի մէջ Աստծուց հրաման առնելով չվերադառնալ Հերովդէսի մօտ, այլ ճանապարհով գնացին իրենց երկիրը:
and being warned of god in a dream that they should not return to herod, they departed into their own country another way.

Եւ երկուսն էլ Աստծու առաջ արդար էին ու անարատ կերպով ընթանում էին Տիրոջ բոլոր պատուիրանների եւ օրէնքների ճանապարհով:
and they were both righteous before god, walking in all the commandments and ordinances of the lord blameless.

Յակոբն էլ գնաց իր ճանապարհով: Նա տեսաւ Աստծու հրեշտակների բանակը. նրան ընդառաջ եկան Աստծու հրեշտակները:
and jacob went on his way, and the angels of god met him.

Դրա համար Աստուած ժողովրդին շրջանցիկ՝ անապատի ճանապարհով տարաւ դէպի Կարմիր ծով: Իսրայէլացիները Եգիպտացիների երկրից դուրս եկան հինգերորդ սերնդի ժամանակ:
but god led the people about, through the way of the wilderness of the red sea: and the children of israel went up harnessed out of the land of egypt.

Եւ երբ այն կողմ, գերգեսացիների երկիրն անցաւ, նրան պատահեցին գերեզմաններից ելած երկու դիւահար, այնքան սաստիկ կատաղած, որ այդ ճանապարհով որեւէ մէկը չէր կարող անցնել:
and when he was come to the other side into the country of the gergesenes, there met him two possessed with devils, coming out of the tombs, exceeding fierce, so that no man might pass by that way.

«Ահա մի սերմնացան ելաւ սերմանելու. եւ երբ նա սերմանում էր, մի մաս սերմ ընկաւ ճանապարհի եզերքին, եւ երկնքի թռչունը եկաւ եւ այն կերաւ:
