ug ang manulonda ni jehova nagpamatuod alang kang josue, nga nagaingon:
and the angel of the lord protested unto joshua, saying,

unya ako mitubag ug miingon sa manulonda nga nakigsulti kanako: unsa ba kini, ginoo ko?
then i answered and said unto the angel that talked with me, what are these, my lord?

karon si josue sinul-oban sa mahugaw nga mga saput, ug diha siya magtindog sa atubangan sa manulonda.
now joshua was clothed with filthy garments, and stood before the angel.

busa ako mitubag ug misulti sa manulonda nga nakigsulti kanako sa pag-ingon: unsa ba kini, ginoo ko?
so i answered and spake to the angel that talked with me, saying, what are these, my lord?

apan kamo nanagpakaduol na ngadto sa bukid sa sion ug sa lungsod sa dios nga buhi, sa langitnon nga jerusalem, ug sa dili maisip nga mga manulonda nga nanagtigum sa pagsadya,
but ye are come unto mount sion, and unto the city of the living god, the heavenly jerusalem, and to an innumerable company of angels,

ug ang manulonda mitubag ug miingon kanako: kini mao ang upat ka mga hangin sa langit, nga mopanaw gikan sa pagtindog sa atubagan sa ginoo sa tibook nga yuta.
and the angel answered and said unto me, these are the four spirits of the heavens, which go forth from standing before the lord of all the earth.

unya ang manulonda nga nakigsulti kanako mipanaw, ug miingon kanako: iyahat karon ang imong mga mata, ug tan-awa kong unsa kini nga nagapanaw.
then the angel that talked with me went forth, and said unto me, lift up now thine eyes, and see what is this that goeth forth.

kay kon ang mga manulonda wala kaloy-i sa dios sa diha nga nakasala sila, hinonoa iyang gitambog sila ngadto sa infierno ug gibalhog ngadto sa mga lungib nga mangiob aron igatagana hangtud sa pagpanghukom;
for if god spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell, and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved unto judgment;

niadtong adlawa si jehova magapanalipod sa mga pumoluyo sa jerusalem; ug kadtong maluyahon sa taliwala nila niadtong adlawa mahisama kang david; ug ang balay ni david mahisama sa dios, sanglit ang manulonda ni jehova anaa sa atubangan nila.
in that day shall the lord defend the inhabitants of jerusalem; and he that is feeble among them at that day shall be as david; and the house of david shall be as god, as the angel of the lord before them.

ang akong dios nagpadala sa iyang manulonda, ug gitak-uman ang baba sa mga leon, ug sila wala makadaut kanako; sanglit kay sa iyang atubangan nakita nga inocente man ako; ug ingon man usab sa atubangan mo. oh hari, ako wala makapasipala.
my god hath sent his angel, and hath shut the lions' mouths, that they have not hurt me: forasmuch as before him innocency was found in me; and also before thee, o king, have i done no hurt.
