ወደ ገሊላ ከተማም ወደ ቅፍርናሆም ወረደ። በሰንበትም ያስተምራቸው ነበር፤

የተገለበጠችውንም ከተማ ደፋ ፡ ፡

በዚህ በጸጥተኛው አገርም ( እምላለሁ ) ፡ ፡

for unto you is born this day in the city of david a saviour, which is christ the lord.
ዛሬ በዳዊት ከተማ መድኃኒት እርሱም ክርስቶስ ጌታ የሆነ ተወልዶላችኋልና።

and he overthrew the cities of the plain ,
የተገለበጠችውንም ከተማ ደፋ ፡ ፡

and mary arose in those days, and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of juda;
ማርያምም በዚያ ወራት ተነሥታ ወደ ተራራማው አገር ወደ ይሁዳ ከተማ ፈጥና ወጣች፥

remember when abraham prayed : " o lord , make this a city of peace , and preserve me and my progeny from worshipping idols :
ኢብራሂምም ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ይህንን አገር ( መካን ) ጸጥተኛ አድርገው ፡ ፡ እኔንም ልጆቼንም ጣዖታትን ከመገዛት አርቀን ፡ ፡

[ remember ] when abraham said , " my lord , make this a city of peace and help me and my children to keep away from worshipping idols .
ኢብራሂምም ባለ ጊዜ ( አስታውስ ) « ጌታዬ ሆይ ! ይህንን አገር ( መካን ) ጸጥተኛ አድርገው ፡ ፡ እኔንም ልጆቼንም ጣዖታትን ከመገዛት አርቀን ፡ ፡

and turning the cities of sodom and gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly;
ኃጢአትንም ያደርጉ ዘንድ ላሉት ምሳሌ አድርጎ ከተማዎችን ሰዶምንና ገሞራን አመድ እስኪሆኑ ድረስ አቃጥሎና ገልብጦ ከፈረደባቸው፥

and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for my sake, for a testimony against them and the gentiles.
ለእነርሱና ለአሕዛብም ምስክር እንዲሆን፥ ስለ እኔ ወደ ገዥዎች ወደ ነገሥታትም ትወሰዳላችሁ።

but they turned away . so we sent against them the flood ( at the city ) of arim , and exchanged their gardens with two others bearing bitter fruit andtamarisks , and here and there a few lotus trees .
( ከማመስገን ) ዞሩም ፡ ፡ በእነርሱም ላይ የግድቡን ጎርፍ ለቀቅንባቸው ፡ ፡ በአትክልቶቻቸውም ሁለት አትክልቶች ፣ ባለመርጋጋ ፍሬዎችን ፣ ባለጠደቻና ከቁርቁራም ባለጥቂት ዛፎችን ለወጥናቸው ፡ ፡

በአንዲቱ ከተማም መከራ ቢያሳዩአችሁ ወደ ሌላይቱ ሽሹ፤ እውነት እላችኋለሁና፥ የሰው ልጅ እስኪመጣ ድረስ የእስራኤልን ከተማዎች አትዘልቁም።
