ኀጢአትን መሓሪ ፣ ጸጸትንም ተቀባይ ፣ ቅጣተ ብርቱ ፣ የልግስና ባለቤት ከኾነው ( አላህ የወረደ ነው ) ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ በቀር አምላክ የለም ፡ ፡ መመለሻው ወደርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

that was the way of allah in the case of those who passed away of old ; thou wilt not find for the way of allah aught of power to change .
( ይህቺ ) በእነዚያ በፊት ባለፉት ( ላይ የደነገጋት ) የአላህ ድንጋጌ ናት ፡ ፡ ለአላህም ድንጋጌ ፈጽሞ መለወጥን አታገኝም ፡ ፡

[ who is ] possessed of power and with the owner of the throne , secure [ in position ] ,
የኀይል ባለቤት በዙፋኑ ባለ ቤት ዘንድ ባለሟል የኾነ ፡ ፡

forgiver of sin , and acceptor of repentance severe in chastisement , lord of power . there is no god but he ; unto him is the journeying .
ኀጢአትን መሓሪ ፣ ጸጸትንም ተቀባይ ፣ ቅጣተ ብርቱ ፣ የልግስና ባለቤት ከኾነው ( አላህ የወረደ ነው ) ፡ ፡ ከእርሱ በቀር አምላክ የለም ፡ ፡ መመለሻው ወደርሱ ብቻ ነው ፡ ፡

the revelation of the book is from allah , the mighty , the knower . forgiver of sin , and accepter of repentance , severe in chastisement , lord of power .
የመጽሐፉ መወረድ አሸናፊ ዐዋቂ ከሆነው አላህ ነው ፡ ፡

bear patiently what they say , and remember our servant dawood , the possessor of power ; surely he was frequent in returning ( to allah ) .
በሚሉት ነገር ላይ ታገስ ፡ ፡ የኀይል ባለቤት የሆነውን ባሪያችንንም ዳውድን አውሳላቸው ፡ ፡ እርሱ በጣም መላሳ ነውና ፡ ፡

it is he who kindles the light of dawn , and has made the night for you to rest , and the sun and moon as a means of calculation . this is the design of the majestic and all-knowing god .
እርሱም ጎህን ( ከሌሊት ጨለማ ) ፈልቃቂ ሌሊትንም ማረፊያ ፀሐይንና ጨረቃንም ( ለጊዜ ) መቁጠሪያ አድራጊ ነው ፡ ፡ ይህ የአሸናፊው የዐዋቂው ( አላህ ) ችሎታ ነው ፡ ፡

( such was our ) method in the case of those whom we sent before thee ( to mankind ) , and thou wilt not find for our method aught of power to change .
ከመልክተኞቻችን ካንተ በፊት በእርግጥ እንደላክናቸው ሰዎች ልማድ ብጤ ( ይጠፉ ነበር ) ፡ ፡ ለልማዳችንም መለወጥን አታገኝም ፡ ፡
