ትናንት ማታ በደንብ ተኝተሃል?

ያንን ( ከእምነት ) የዞረውን አየህን ?

did you see him who denies the retribution ?
ያንን በምርመራው የሚያስተባብለውን አየህን ? ( ዐወቅከውን ? )

did you consider the fire which you kindle ?
ያቺንም የምትሰብቋትን እሳት አያችሁን ?

did you create it , or are we the creator ?
እናንተ ትፈጥሩታላችሁን ? ወይስ እኛ ፈጣሪዎቹን ነን ?

did you receive the story of the hosts
የሰራዊቶቹ ወሬ መጣልህን ?

did you create it or was it we who created it ?
እናንተ ትፈጥሩታላችሁን ? ወይስ እኛ ፈጣሪዎቹን ነን ?

did you cast a good look at the water that you drink ?
ያንንም የምትጠጡትን ውሃ አየችሁን ?

did you send it down from the clouds , or did we send it ?
እናንተ ከደመናው አወረዳችሁትን ? ወይስ እኛ አውራጆቹ ነን ?

pharaoh said to those around him , " did you hear ? "
( ፈርዖንም ) በዙሪያው ላሉት ሰዎች « አትሰሙምን » አለ ፡ ፡

did you receive the story of abraham s ’ honoured guests ?
የተከበሩት የኢብራሂም እንግዶች ወሬ መጥቶሃልን ?

both of you go to pharaoh , for he has indeed rebelled .
« ወደ ፈርዖን ኺዱ ፡ ፡ እርሱ ወሰን አልፏልና ፡ ፡

" did you do this to our gods , o abraham ? " they enquired .
« ኢብራሂም ሆይ ! በአማልክቶቻችን ይህንን የሠራህ አንተ ነህን » አሉት ፡ ፡

did you consider that if we were to let them enjoy life for many years
አየህን ብዙ ዓመታትን ብናጣቅማቸው ፤

( and that is indeed a mighty oath , did you but know it )
እርሱም ብታወቁ ታላቅ መሓላ ነው ፡ ፡

and he will ask : ' how many years did you live on earth '
« በምድር ውስጥ ከዓመታት ቁጥር ስንትን ቆያችሁ » ይላቸዋል ፡ ፡
