በዚህ ውሰጥ ለእርሱ ልብ ላለው ወይም እርሱ ( በልቡ ) የተጣደ ኾኖ ( ወደሚነበብለት ) ጆሮውን ለጣለ ሰው ግሳጼ አለበት ፡ ፡

good tidings to bear , and warning , but most of them have turned away , and do not give ear .
አብሳሪና አስፈራሪ ሲኾን ( ተወረደ ) ፡ ፡ አብዛኛዎቻቸውም ተዉት ፡ ፡ እነርሱም አይሰሙም ፡ ፡

and when the koran is recited , give you ear to it and be silent ; haply so you will find mercy .
ቁርኣንም በተነበበ ጊዜ እርሱን አዳምጡ ፡ ፡ ጸጥም በሉ ፡ ፡ ይታዘንላችኋልና ፡ ፡

and some of them give ear to thee ; what , wilt thou make the deaf to hear , though they understand not ?
ከእነሱም ወደ አንተ የሚያዳምጡ ( እና የማያምኑ ) አልሉ ፡ ፡ አንተ ደንቆሮዎችን የማያውቁ ቢኾኑም ታሰማለህን

what i tell you in darkness, that speak ye in light: and what ye hear in the ear, that preach ye upon the housetops.
በጨለማ የምነግራችሁን በብርሃን ተናገሩ፤ በጆሮም የምትሰሙትን በሰገነት ላይ ስበኩ።

the unbelievers say , ' do not give ear to this koran , and talk idly about it ; haply you will overcome .
እነዚያም የካዱት « ይህንን ቁርኣን አታዳምጡ ፡ ፡ ታሸንፉም ዘንድ ( ሲነበብ ) በእርሱ ውሰጥ ተንጫጩ » አሉ ፡ ፡

( into whose ears ) they pour hearsay vanities , and most of them are liars .
የሰሙትን ( ወደ ጠንቋዮች ) ይጥላሉ ፡ ፡ አብዛኞቻቸውም ውሸታሞች ናቸው ፡ ፡
